Arohi moved inside the ICU following RP and Kumud. She saw Arjun laughing with her father and Rashi.
"Papa I think you should give that Hot Head some credit. After all she saved a whole big worth uncountable life. If anything would have happened to me what all the girls in London and India would have done? Hot head must be felicitated a" Bharat Ratna" oh I mean "Saver Ratna" award for this noble cause." Arohi heard Arjun trying to be as serious as possible while saying this to her father for one moment Rashi and Dr.Ashutosh both felt that Arjun must have seriously hit on head of which all the doctors were unaware of and by their "Have you lost it?" look Arjun burst out laughing hard. Arohi glanced at her father who shook his head in "there is no chance" exhausted expression and on the other side Rashi was glaring at him ready to throw him out of the bed any time. Though Arohi reacted by raising her eyebrows she didn't want to draw any attention towards her. She was the winner of lifetime. A small grin appeared on her face which was getting wider with her each step towards the bed.
Arjun saw her. She entered with a triumphed smile on her face. "Obviously she was happy as now I could never in my life win over her. God d**n! she bl**dy saved my life. I am in debt of her for lifetime." Arjun thought to himself scowling at her... Life is not fair!
"Doctors I think you all are having a nice feast in the most unlikely place." Arohi said firmly glancing at everyone in turns, with a stern expression. It was the rule of the hospital that in the corridors or any wards of the hospital they are professional doctor's and not family. Arohi was in charge of the hospital until RP takes over her in about an hour. Until then she is the senior doctor. Arohi had to make sure that no rules are broken. Any other day she didn't care about the rules and was often the one who breaks them but as of now she wanted to enjoy someone's sufferings. Again cut off from the family whom he was eager to meet since so many years.
"Dr. Rashi I think I'll see you tomorrow morning." Arohi said picking the notepad hanging at the side of the bed.
"Cool so she has become the ring master of the hospital now? Two years away from me made her useless. But one thing is the same she is still The Lady Hitler." Arjun muttered to himself but he didn't realize he was loud enough to be audible to every single person in the room.
Arohi shifted her gaze from the notepad to Arjun and gave him "any doubt?" look and swiftly turned away before they further jump into an eye quarrel.
Arjun shook his head in disgust.
Everyone was more than just surprised by Arohi's responsible behavior. But the most astonishing thing is though Arohi heard each and every word from Arjun's mouth against her she hadn't reacted at all as if she doesn't care. That made RP and Kumud worried. It was always like Dr. Ashutosh was Arjun's father and Dr. RP and DR. Kumud were Arohi's parents. Arjun was the same so Dr. Ashutosh was relieved but Arohi's behavior was causing dangerous vibes all over the ICU.
No one was interested in commenting on Arjun's not so soft mutter; they quickly bid him good night by kissing on his forehead and leaving the room one by one except RP.
"Dad aren't you going home?" Arjun asked his father elated. He didn't want to be stuck with the hot head.
"I am on duty with Dr. Arohi, Arjun. I will be on duty in half hour I'll be in my cabin till then." And he started moving towards the door.
"Dad can't you stay here for half hour?" Arjun asked almost pleading moving his eyes to his dad and then Arohi.
"Dr. RP I'll be in your cabin after 10minutes. I have to discuss yesterday's case with you. There are complications."Arohi said blankly.
"Okay Dr. Arohi I'll go through the case once again till you come then." RP said suppressing his chuckle. He moved to his son and caressed his back.
"If you need anything Arohi will be there." He smiled softly at Arohi and left the room before Arjun could argue. He knew it was the right thing to do. Leave them alone. They haven't talked since last 2 years when Arohi came back home. Nobody knows what the matter was. Arohi requested everyone not to question both of them.
