"Bhai, who is the person that is not allowing her to contact us?" asked Rashi patting on Arjun's shoulder.

Arjun was brought back to his senses.

"Parth" Arjun said one simple word and Rashi's expression changed.

Anuj knew about Parth but he was confused because Rashi told him that he was in jail for two years. How could he reach Arohi before her family?

Arjun looked at both Rashi and Anuj and explained the situation. "I called back home to Sanchit asking him about Parth. I had already asked him to look for Parth before coming here.

Sanchit told me that Parth was released a year earlier. There was some strong source that tried very hard for his release.

After that Parth was never seen in the city, for that matter Pratha is also not in the city but according to what Sanchit said before Parth left the city there was a huge fight between his father and him also people in the neighborhood said that he behaved like he is out of mental asylum.

He even slapped his own father in front of the neighbors and left the house. He was never seen again. Pratha was seen for the following week but she too disappeared after that."

"But bhai how you are so sure it was Parth who kidnapped bhabhi?" asked Anuj

"Because no one else has the motive to harm Arohi but I feel Parth is not alone in this. He has some strong backing because it was not his father who made efforts to take him out." said Arjun trying to put the pieces together.

"When was the last time bhabhi contacted you all?" asked Anuj now in all detective mode.

"I don't know she was in contact with only my father. We have to ask him but I...." Arjun's words stuck in his mouth he was not in good terms with his father for a long time.

"Rashi, can you ask Dad?" Arjun looked at Rashi pleading

"No bhai this time you have to let go. I know whatever dad did doesn't seem correct to you but think about him it was his and bhabhi's deal we have no right to speak in that case." Rashi said rejecting his plead.

Deep down Arjun too knew he overreacted. His father always loved Arohi may be more than his own children.

It was time to let go, Arjun thought Arohi will not be happy if she comes to know that I haven't spoken to his own father for such a long time.

Arjun nodded and dialed a number on his phone. This time he chose to stay in front of Rashi and Anuj because he needed courage and they were the most positive people around at the moment.

The ring went on for a while just before Arjun was about to hang up a voice came from other side.

"Arjun? Are you alright? Has anything happened? Is Rashi fine?" RP asked worried.

Arjun sensed the concern in his father's voice. His father was always like this. His concern was always genuine be it for Rashi, Arohi or him.

"Dad we are fine." Arjun said with a lump in his throat

RP sensed something was not right he asked "Is it about Arohi?" RP has sensed that Arjun can be vulnerable when it comes to Arohi.

"It is dad." Arjun said softly

On the other side of the phone RP almost collapsed on the chair.

"Should I prepare for the worst?" RP thought but he couldn't speak.

"She is alive dad." Arjun sensed his father's tension and quickly told him the positive news.

RP couldn't control himself and he started laughing uncontrollably. "She is alive? Really? Where is she? Are you bringing her home? Is that why you have gone to London? Where was she all these days? Is she alright?" RP was firing away Arjun with all sorts of questions.
