Rashi came giggling to the dinner table. She was very happy that her brother delayed rather never opened the door. She didn't mind if they never come out of the room finally there was some hope.
Rashi never knew that the events that occurred in such a less span will revolve the complete world around her. Her brother and now sister-in-law are actually married and haven't had a big fight even after 3days of their marriage. As Rashi was still in her thoughts giggling Kumud raised an eyebrow and asked her.
"What is it Rash?"
"Nothing mom it is just bhai and bhabi." Rashi said shaking her head.
Kumud became worried. When it comes to her son and daughter yes she always consider Arohi as her daughter; when it comes to them that too together her hearts is always on the edge of failure.
"Rash what about bhai and bhabi?" Kumud asked tensed.
Rashi understood that the suspense was not good for her mother's health as she might get a nice lecture from her for keeping her mom on hold.
"Nothing mom just chill. They didn't open the door when I called them that mean all is well."Rashi said in one breath.
Kumud sighed heavily and said
"Okay good" and she started laughing so loudly that Rashi became worried.
"Mom what is it?"
Kumud almost choked while replying to Rashi.
"I am laughing because there I thought on the night of Arjun's wedding that the next day we will have to see either pieces of one of them or at least a dead body on lighter note and now they are not opening the door which is a rare case becaus eif they are doing a fight than Arohi would have opened the door that means they are busy in doing the things they must do." Kumud expression was mixed she was very happy and laughing still she had tears in her eyes.
Rashi quickly rushed towards her and embraced her. She exactly knew Arjun Arohi getting along is the biggest dream of their parents.
As she was placating Kumud she heard foot steps nearing them unmistakably they were of Arjun and Arohi. Arjun's footsteps were smug whereas Arohi's were little hollow. Kumud felt as though these were the indication that something is changing in their house.
She could identify Arjun's footsteps from anywhere on the earth and same applied for Rashi and Arohi but this time for a split second she was not sure that Arohi is walking along with Arjun.
Each step she took was steady trying to sweep away the cloud sof thoughts mounting in her mind. These steps were little girly which was next to impossible when it comes to Arohi.
Kumud felt as though Arohi's blushed and a little glow that must have been spread across her face. It was clearly audible to her. She needed to confirm it if she was right and when she turned she let outa sigh indeed she was right.
Arohi was blushing after every few seconds trying to control her emotions. She was walking side by side with Arjun feeling the warmth of their relationship.
For some reason she felt complete at the moment. She was different, she was glowing which could be seen only by the ones who understand her and yes her lips were a little swollen. "Ha!" Kumud murmured to herself in excitement.
She exactly knew the reason behind Arohi's sudden change.
"Arohi isn't just my daughter now but I think in true sense she wants to be my daughter in law" Kumud thought to herself.
Kumud was already surprised by the way Arohi has accepted her marriage with Arjun. She was always like a tom boy but since her marriage with Arjun she has wore nothing but saree.
She behaved like a perfect daughter in law, sister in law, and now Kumud was sure like a wife too. Kumud smiled to herself and told Arjun and Arohi to sit Rashi wanted to say something but Kumud glared at her not to say anything. She wanted to enjoy the moment with her children.
The next day as the previous day Arjun and Arohi left in a same car to the hospital. Arohi was glowing and she was fresh, Arjun too noticed it but he had no clue why is she behaving weird only fear that was eating up his brain was he didn't want Arohi to be sweet for him that was against the law of nature.
They didn't have any conversation throughout the drive but when he glanced at Arohi in the middle he found her smiling to herself. For time being he thought of asking her whether she has lost her mind and he should change their route to mental hospital but he want to wait as a big mess was coming for Arohi.
He was sure the duty exchange will make the hospital turn into a boxing ring. He didn't care if they break any rule what was his concern was that he wanted his Fight Pal back, his hot head, lady Hitler Arohi back..
As they walked to the reception Arjun quickly took his file and went to the gathered interns. Arohi was surprised but didn't say anything until she saw her file which was changed from intern inspection to surgery. She turned to receptionist trying to control the slow irruptions of lava already commencing in her head.
"Siya?"
"Yes ma'am?"
"When is that my duty changed?"
"What' ma'am?" Siyaasked confused.
"My duty?" and Arohi showed her the file.
"Oh that was your husband ma'am." Siya said with a soft giggle.
"What does my husband has to do with this?" Arohi glared at her showing her all the displeasure she has in communicating with her since she found Arjun and her flirting.
"And by the way in the hospital in duty hours he is Dr. Arjun Singhania and I am Dr. Arohi Singhania understood?" Arohi said with an angry face coming closer to Siya which made her move back.
"Dr. Arohi , Dr. Arjun told me to exchange your duties as he wanted to introduce himself to the interns and he told me he will talk to you." Now Arohi was fuming how dare Arjun mess with her duties? But something else was bothering her more than the exchange of duties was Arjun with new interns of which maximum are girls.
She hated to see Arjun surrounded by girls. Not again, she always saw this cheap side of Arjun flirting with all the girls but now she will not tolerate he was her damn husband.
She walked like an express train to the crowd of interns. Arjun heard the footsteps and he was all ready for a power pack performance. He was purposely sitting in the middle of all the girls with the boys at both the end. They all were enjoying his company.
"Arjun my cabin please want to have a word."
"What is it Dr. Arohi I am busy."
"Now" Arohi was determined. She was not ready to let Arjun go easily nor was she planning to make any scene in front of all.
She turned giving Arjun a deadly glare and left to her cabin
