Arohi's mind and heart were both giving her signals that she need to see if Arjun is okay but she could not reach him. Everyone present surrounded her congratulating her win.
It was indeed a great win for her as she has never won any fight with Arjun. She must admit that Arjun is her mentor.
Arjun was the first one to congratulate her and then without disturbing the people around he left for the tent. Arohi was still with her friends. After about ten minutes all went back to their tents to pack up. It was time to go home.
Here in the tent Arjun was trying to take out his t-shirt but his shoulders were paining badly. After sixth attempt he just sat down trying to think what he could do. At the same time Arohi came into the tent.
"Aren't you changing Arjun?" Arohi asked casually
"Yeah" Arjun answered absentmindedly still in his thoughts.
"I thought you already changed." Arohi noticed that Arjun was not paying attention to her.
"Arjun" Arohi almost screamed.
"Ah! Arohi, when did you come?" Arjun asked snapping out of his trance.
"I am here for almost five minutes but you were not here. Where were you ?" Arohi inquired.
"What you mean? I am here in front of you." Arjun asked confused
"But your mind was somewhere else." said Arohi
"Never mind, you change first I will change later." saying this Arjun was about to go out of tent when Arohi caught his hand.
"You are hurt aren't you?" Arohi asked softly
"No!" Arjun lied
"Don't lie let me see" with this Arohi came in front of Arjun and directly pulled his t-shirt up trying to take it out that was the first time Arjun made a painful sound "Ouch!"
"What happened? You are hurt I know." Arohi removed Arjun's t-shirt carefully when she looked at his body she was shocked.
"Are you mad? Can you not speak? You don't even let pain affect you?" Arohi was worried. Arjun's entire body was bruised.
"It's nothing Rohi" Arjun took another t-shirt and started putting it on.
"Stop it. Stop right there. Put an ointment first." Arohi took out an ointment from her backpack and started applying it on Arjun's bruises.
"You were so sure that I will beat you that you carried ointment with you?" Arjun asked smiling
Arohi just glared at him.
"What now? Want to beat me more?" asked Arjun teasingly
"No thank I might kill you if you continue to be saint on battle field." Arohi said mockingly
"Dream on" said Arjun
"Fine put on your t-shirt and get out. I'll pack and come." Arohi said again glaring
Arjun put on his t-shirt with difficulty and left the tent. Everyone has packed up they were ready to leave.
All were descending very slowly munching the biscuits they had. All were in good mood and they didn't want to leave this place so early. Romit and Rashi was busy pulling each other's leg.
Arjun was leisurely walking behind. He was taking in the beauty of nature. He has missed home all this while.
He had opportunities abroad but he came back because he wanted his parents and papa to pamper him. He wanted to tease his sister, roam around like this with his gang and most importantly be with Arohi,no matter how but he always wanted Arohi around.
They were together from the beginning.
He was in his own thoughts that he didn't realize that all his gang was already way ahead of him. They too didn't notice that Arjun was not with them. They just thought that he was walking behind. After some time Sanchit suddenly said
"Where is Arjun?"
"He was just walking behind" said Simmi and turned to look but he was not there.
"Is he lost?" Romit asked innocently.
"He is so big how can he lose his way?" Rashi said rolling her eyes.
"You all go ahead and make food arrangements. I'll look for him." said Arohi Everyone nodded.
"You take care" said Shefali and they all left ahead.
Arohi waited for more ten minutes but there was no sign of Arjun
"Have I hit his brain? Why is he behaving lost?" Arohi got up and went back in the direction they all came.
After walking for five more minutes she still could not find Arjun. Now Arohi became tensed. Where he could be?
Arohi started searching for him in panic. In panic she started walking to the edge of the mountain.
Mountain had a deep valley though the ascending and descending the mountain was not that dangerous the valley was indeed deep. Now Arohi's heart was thumping loudly and her head started aching.
"If I find that idiot now I'll kill him for making everyone worried." Arohi said to herself.
As she came nearer to the edge she was looking for any sign of Arjun but there was no Arjun.
She just peeped down to see the depth of valley and her heart started thumping more heavily. At the same time there was a moment near Arohi's feet and she was so distracted that she lost her balance she was about to fall down the edge when suddenly a hand pulled her towards itself.
She fell down on the ground but the one who pulled her could not be seen. She looked sideways but there was nobody.
"How it is possible there must be someone who pulled me?" thought Arohi and then she noticed a watch. Arjun's watch, that watch was near the edge.
"What the hell?" said Arohi what is his watch doing over here and she slowly peeped down this time with care and she could see Arjun hanging onto a thin rock.
"Idiot what are you doing there?" Arohi asked Arjun angrily
"Super idiot I saved you few seconds ago." Arjun was trying very hard to talk.
"Oh yes correct. Sorry!" Arohi said apolitically
"Pull me up you dumb." Arjun was clearly loosing himself now
"Fine, fine give me your hand." said Arohi extending her hand
Arjun caught stone with one hand and extended his other hand to catch Arohi's. Arohi started pulling him up but she could not pull him. He was heavy for her. His grip of the other hand was also loosening.
"Arohi please try. My hand is slipping away." Arjun said not showing his panic because even at this time when he might die he knew Arohi's heart would shatter into pieces if he showed any weakness.
"I am trying Arjun, I shouldn't have let everyone go ahead." Arohi was on the verge of tears now.
"Just try Arohi. You are strong enough you will manage." Arjun said encouraging her.
Arohi's hands has also became slippery due to the sweat. She tried to pull Arjun with all her strength but the slippery hands were making it difficult.
Arohi had pulled Arjun just an inch when suddenly her hands which were holding Arjun slipped and at the same time Arjun's hand from the rock also slipped and Arohi's vision blurred.
"Arohi!" Arohi could here Arjun's scream and feel his hand was not in her hands. When Arohi heard Arjun scream she too screamed with pain "Arjun!" tears started coming out of her eyes and her vision became foggier. She was crying like a maniac.
"Arjun I will kill you if you die. I'll come to hell and kill you. I'll follow you wherever you go. I HATE YOU ARJUN BUT YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! You get that. Arjun!"Arohi screamed on last time and fainted.
