Vivian hasn't come to school in three days. She missed Okuda's poisoning of Sensei, not that he had actually died. Just like Nagisa had thought, he didn't have her make an actual poison that could kill him, instead it had caused sensei to become a liquid that could hide almost anywhere, apparently as a lesson to Okuda about how communication was important, not that Nagisa had been paying much attention, his mind focused instead on Vivian, wondering where she was. After class on the third day, as he and Karma were walking towards the train he asked the same question he had been asking the past few days, "Have you heard anything from her?" "No, nothing," Karma replied, worry in his voice, as usual. Nagisa decided to try to text her again, hoping upon hope that she would respond. Opening the group chat they had started a few days ago, he sent a message Vivian? Are you ok? As the two of the walked together in silence, Nagisa stared at his phone, hoping and praying she would respond. When they made it to the train station, his phone went off as did Karmas. At first, they thought it was just a figment of their imagination, a dream, but when they looked at their phones, there was a new notification. It was in the group chat, and it was from Vivian. They both quickly unlocked their phones and opened the message. Hello. I apologize that I have been out of touch. I have not been feeling well but I should be back at school tomorrow or the day after. Thank you both for the concern. Nagisa read message and then read it again, before looking up and locking eyes with Karma, his joy and relief reflecting in Karmas eyes, both of them breathing a sigh of relief. "She's ok." Karma said, a grin finding a way to his face. Nagisa nodded, "She's alive," Nagisa quickly typed back Are you ok? What's wrong? Can we do anything for you? Karma also typed. Yeah, mouse, you need anything? Both boys sat, staring at their phones waiting for a response. Five minutes passed before she responded, I appreciate your concern, but I am fine. I just had a bit of a relapse. I shall see you both at school soon. Goodnight. And Karma, I am not a mouse, with that Vivian quickly ended the conversation, but neither of the boys were mad, actually they were the opposite, completely ecstatic that she hadn't disappeared. With a smile the two got on the train made their way home.
