The next day, Vivian was once again dropped off by a small black car that barely slowed down enough to let her out before speeding away, leaving a trail of dust in its wake. Vivian took a deep long breath before she began her long climb up the mountain to the end class, as class E was known around the rest of the school, listening to the sounds of the forest and breathing in the sweet mountain air. Vivian let the nature around her soothe her after her horrible night. Her body shuddered and ached with pain from the memory as she pushed it to the back of her mind and started counting to help calm her body. 'One, two, three, four....' She counted to herself all the way to school. She reached three hundred and eighty two before she heard two boys talking from a little over a hundred feet away. Tilting her head to the side like a dog might she listened intently and could hear Nagisa and another one of her classmates named Tomohito Sugino talking. "'Every morning before class sensei relaxes on the lawn.' There he is, just like you said! Thanks, Nagisa!" "Good luck, Sugino," Nagisa replied quietly. Vivian looked up at the trees and, with a silent leap, made it into the branches. Jumping from branch to branch, tree to tree, she rushed closer and closer until she was roughly ten feet away and could see the two of them from her hiding spot in the leaf filled branches. She stopped and saw Sugino reach his arm back like a pitcher and throw something as hard as he could at their Sensei, who was lounging in a lawn chair reading a newspaper from New York. 'What did he throw? Is that a baseball? That's not even going to do anything. What was he thinking?' Vivian thought to herself as she watched the ball head for the lawn chair, but when she looked back Koro-sensei was no longer sitting there and instead was standing behind Sugino, the baseball cradled in a brown baseball mitt. "Good morning, Nagisa, Sugino. I like your idea of covering the ball in anti me BBs, but I had time before it reached me to go to the equipment shed, grab a mitt to protect my tentacles, straighten the sign on door, and make it back here with plenty of time to spare and catch it. I do hope you can kill me before graduation, but for now, it's time for homeroom." Koro-sensei's tentacles squished lightly as he made his way back to the classroom with a dejected looking Sugino and a worried looking Nagisa following slightly behind him. For some reason, as they walked away, she couldn't keep her eyes off the fading form of Nagisa. Ever since her first day in class, she would find herself staring at him, and her head would turn towards him whenever she heard his voice. She would also sometimes feel eyes on her, and when she looked over, he would be staring at her, but as soon as he noticed her eyes looking back, he would quickly look away. She would still get a massive headache whenever she looked him in the eye, and just looking at him gave her a slight ache, but she couldn't seem to stop herself from staring. After the three of them had completely disappeared from her sight, she shook her head to clear her thoughts and lightly hopped down from the tree, landing so softly on the ground she didn't even kick up any dirt. She looked over at where the three of them had just been standing and tipped her head in thought. 'Even though it didn't work, it was a creative idea; but he could have thrown harder and faster had he fixed his throwing stance, but that doesn't affecte' so with a shrug, Vivian looked at her phone and saw class would be starting soon. Putting her phone away, she started to lightly jog to class.
