It had been a few days since class had stared, and Vivian was waiting for the blue haired boy, Nagisa, to start class. "All rise, fire!" At his shout, the whole class started firing BBs at their teacher. Well, all but Vivian, that is, not that anyone noticed anyway, too busy firing at their teacher zooming Mach-twenty around the entire front of the room to be paying any attention to her. After roll call, the entire class swept up the spent BBs, and they retook their seats as class continued on as usual, well usual for the E-class anyway. Vivian wasn't really paying attention, at least not to the words and the lesson her sensei was teaching. After all, she had an eidetic memory; meaning she remembered everything she had ever seen, heard, smelled, etc. making school a breeze when she could just read all the textbooks in one day and still remember it all days, weeks, months, and even years later. 'Well, almost everything,' she thought to herself, 'I still don't remember anything from before I was 6.' She shook her head to clear her pointless thoughts and continued to do what she had been doing earlier; listening to the nuances in sensei's voice, to her fellow students whispers and heartbeats, and scenting the air every few minutes searching for any threat or change in the air; as she listened to their teacher who Kaede had named "Koro-sensei", which meant "un-killable teacher". Vivian focused her complete attention back over at Koro-sensei when he started to tell them he wanted them to write a poem ending in "was tentacles all along." Vivian took out her notebook and quickly started working on her assignment when she noticed Nagisa get up and take his papers to Koro-sensei. Now, most people would have thought nothing of it and would have gone back to their own work... but Vivian was different. And she sensed something terrible was about to happen. She took a deep breath, ignoring all the usual scents that were in the room, and instead, she focused on any new or strange scents in the air. That was when she detected the faint but unmistakable scent of real gun powder. As Nagisa got closer, he pulled out a knife that he had hidden between his poem papers and made a mad dash to stab sensei. Koro-sensei easily dogged out of the way, but as Vivian stood up, to do what she wasn't sure nor did she really know why she felt the need all of the sudden to scream "NO, STOP!!" She held it back but couldn't stop herself as she barely audibly mouthed the words, "Berry-kun." As she watched, Nagisa threw his arms around Sensei's neck and before he could react, BOOM! A cloud of smoke appeared, blocking her view of their teacher and classmate. "Yeah, we got him! That ten billion yen is all ours!" The delinquent-like student from the first day she had since learned was named Terasaka, yelled with his fist in the air in celebration while rushing towards the front of the room with the rest of the class. Vivian suddenly felt something wet on her face, and when she touched her cheek, she felt tears. She couldn't figure out why, but she concluded it was from all the smoke in the air irritating her eyes and causing them to water; as she hasn't cried otherwise for as long as she could remember. "What about Nagisa? He could be hurt! What in the world did you give him?" Kaede asked angrily, her hands on her hips as she shook with rage and worry. "I just gave him a toy grenade I had filled with gun powder and anti-sensei BBs." Terasaka said as he brushed her off, "Besides, I'll pay for his hospital bill with all the yen we're about to get!" As they were talking the dust had settled and sitting there on the ground with not a scratch on him and a look of shocked surprise on his face, was Nagisa, covered in a strange see through substance that had apparently protected him completely from the explosion. Vivian would have almost said she felt relieved, but as that didn't make any sense to her at all, she decided felt nothing unusual and instead sat back down as silently as she had stood; waiting to watch the fallout she knew was coming. When the other students looked around for what was left of Koro-sensei, they found him standing behind Terasaka, his head and tentacles black as night. They had just made Koro-sensei very, very angry. All of a sudden, he flew out the window, and when he returned mere seconds later, he dropped the name plates from the doors belonging to Terasaka and his friends and family members. "I may have promised never to hurt any of you, but I never said I wouldn't hurt your friends or your family. We were lucky I shed my skin once a month and that I was able to use it to protect Nagisa from being hurt. If you ever try another assassination attempt like this again... well, we'll just hope that doesn't happen, huh? Remember, have fun and kill me, not yourselves, or each other." Most of the students sat in stunned silence as Koro-sensei's skin returned to its normal yellow color as he turned and started to rebuke then praise Nagisa and Teraska's group in equal measure for their assassination attempt.
