The rain pattered against the old window, making small thumps. The thumps were quiet but loud enough to wake up the blue eyed girl.
Vivian looked around the room to see only one person in her company. Geraldine. Geraldine was sound asleep. Vivian looked over at the clock, and it read Half Ten in the morning.
She groaned and sat up in her bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Vivian stood up, making her way to the dorm bathroom.
She picked up her tooth brush and began to brush her teeth. 'I look a state' she whined. Her hair was all tuggy, and she still had mascara on from yesterday.
The girl began to fix her hair and make up, making herself look more presentable. She began to look for an outfit.
Eventually, she put on a black mini dress, black tights, and a thigh length red coat that covered her dress.
Vivian was about to exit the room before she was stopped. "Vivi, where are you going?" Geraldine grumbled. "You look good. A date?""No. No." She laughed. "I'm going to take a little walk." Vivian put on her black gloves, that were thankfully fluffy inside.
"It's raining." Geraldine wiped her eyes. "I like the rain." "You don't have a hood." Geraldine continued. She was half asleep and probably wouldn't remember this conversation later on.
"I don't mind." Vivian smiled before she exited the dorm room and making her way to a pathway beside the dark forest. She would never actually go into the dark forest, but she loved being around it.
Vivian could feel a presence walk behind her. Being beside the dark forest made the girl feel anxious. She walked ahead for another 30 seconds before turning around sharply, pulling out her wand.
"Tom! I could've killed you!" She still stood in a defensive stance, her wand pointing at him. "You nearly made me chuckle." Tom's face was as straight as a ruler.
"What are you doing out here?" Vivian wondered. Tom stared at her wand. "Do you think you appear threatening towards me right now?" He diverted his eyes to Vivian's face.
"Yes, I do think so." She nods proudly. "Do you mind if I walk with you?" He raised an eyebrow. Vivian was staring at him, taking in every single feature.
Tom cleared his throat. "You're staring."
"Yes. No! I mean, Yes, you can walk with me." Vivian twisted up her words and began to spout.Tom nodded, and they both began to walk alongside eachother. "It's raining. You don't have a hood."
Vivian looked up. It was drizzling. She wasn't exactly sure what to say, but Tom stepped closer beside her, sheltering her with his black umbrella.
"Thank you, Riddle." Vivian smiled as the boy showed her probably the kindest act he's ever done. "Okay."
The two walked in silence for a while before Vivian spoke up. "I can't make it today. I know you said seven, but I have to study for my own subjects, and it's my friend and I's birthdays soon, and we're planning stuff. I'm just busy."
Tom put the umbrella down as they entered a long, rain sheltered bridge. "We will do it tomorrow." Vivian laughed a little. He didn't even ask if she was free.
