"So what is it, Riddle?" Vivian asked frustrated, she was sick of Tom speaking in riddles. "Well." He hesitated before opening his mouth again.

"I happen to need your help." He looked embarrassed to be asking for her. This made a smile grow onto her face. "You need my help?" Vivian's cocky tone asked.

"Don't gloat, Caledonia. It isn't a good look on you." Tom snapped at her. She slouched down in her seat. "My help with what exactly?" Vivian asked.

"Tell me about them. The horcruxes, that is." Riddle's posture was straight. A shiver went down Vivian's spine. The book about the horcruxes was so dark that she was unable to even finish it.

"I don't think so, Tom. That book was dark, darker than any I've ever read before. You wish to avoid messing with it." Vivian gulped nervously.

"Now who's on a first name basis'?" Tom asked, ignoring everything else she had previously said. "Seriously, you can't mess with those types of things. It's dangerous." She warned frantically.

"Worried about me?" He joked, letting out a chuckle. "I'd worry about us all, Riddle."

"I don't want to do anything with the magic. I'm merely curious." He hushed her, making sure no one was hearing their already quiet conversation.

"Why do you care so much about this particular category? There's stuff there's much more interesting." Vivian tried to change the topic to something safer.

"I'm quite interested in this. Please, Vivian." Tom pleaded. She began to pity the boy. She didn't really think that he would do anything with the magic anyway, but it was still good to be cautious.

Or not.

"But you promise you won't try anything silly? If you decide to make a horcrux, I don't want to be involved, or even the reason for it."

"Of course. You can trust me, Vivian." He smirked at the girl who was sitting across from him. "Well, you are a prefect. That's got to mean something." She joked.

"See? It'll be fine. I would never harm anyone." Despite the serious look on Tom's face, she was still apprehensive about him.

"Fine! I'll tell you what I know; just stop harassing me!" Vivian grew annoyed with his constant pestering. "You will?" Tom scoffed as if it were so easy for Vivian to give in.

"Yes. Now leave me alone." Vivian snapped at the brunette, who had a smug look on his face. "Actually, I was here first. Leave." He demanded, looking back down at his book.

"Rude." She stood up and began to walk away. She could feel Tom's eyes boring into the back of her.

She then began to make her way back to her dorm room. The halls were quite quiet, and that was strange as it was after classes and everyone was usually running around.

During the quiet walk she thought about what she had just agreed to. She knew it was possibly a bad idea saying that she'd teach Tom more about the
Horcruxes, but what could he possibly do?

Tom couldn't be capable of murder, could he?

She was snapped out of her thoughts as a loud group of Slytherin girls turned the coroner and began to walk down the hallway where Vivian was.

"Vivian!" Walburga Black shouted in a fake, nice voice. "Black." Vivian quietly huffed. She had never liked Walburga.

She never liked any of the Blacks. They were all so full of themselves because they were pure blooded and rich. Vivian herself didn't see what was wrong with blood status', maybe that was because she was a Half blood though.

"Where's your girlfriend? I've heard you two are having a hard time." Her friends giggled at what she had said.

"Oh, I'm actually just on my way to see her. Would you girls like to join us, or is that too much for you to handle?" Vivian pushed past the group of girls and continued to make her way to her dorm room.

"I just bumped into Walburga, and I swear to-" Vivian cut herself off as she saw Mark and Abigayle laying in bed sleeping.

"What on earth?" She whispered to herself. She wasn't sure whether to wake them up or not as it would be very awkward considering this did not make the two look like just friends.

She threw her head back and groaned, walking out of her dorm and back to the common room. She took a seat on one of the couches and began to read a book.

She was almost dozing off in the common room. It had been only an hour until she noticed a familiar face leaving the girls dorms.

"Finally, I never thought you'd see light again." Vivian closed her book and stood up. "You could have woken us up." Mark looked embarrassed.

"And ruin the romantic tension? Never." She smiled and trailed off. "There was nothing romantic about that. We just both happened to fall asleep in the same bed at the same time." The brunette snapped.

"And in each others arms." She continued. "Goodbye, Caledonia." He put his fingers on his ears and began to walk away, singing a tune so that he couldn't hear her.

Vivian smiled once again and began to walk up to her dorm. "Hello." She placed her book down and sat on her bed.

"Did you just get here?" Abigayle looked paranoid. "No, I got here about an hour ago, but unfortunately for me, there were two people occupying my dorm."

"Don't make it sound like that! We were only asleep." Abigayle jumped up. "I don't see how you could bear to sleep in a bed with him. He snores." Said Vivian.

Abigayle laughed quietly. "Mark's really nice, huh?" She smiled to herself. "Erm, no." Vivian furrowed her eyebrows.

Abigayle lightly shook her head in disagreement.
