THE SOUND OF PATTY FLETCHER'S VOICE ECHOED UP THE STAIRS OF THE MIDVILLE-FLETCHER HOUSE HOLD.

"Girls, breakfast is ready I've been telling you for hours now!" Margaret's mother reminded her two daughters who were still in their respected bedrooms. "I don't need that girl honking outside of our house again!"

Before Patty could echo more complaints, Margaret emerged at the top of the stairs, "I'm here, I'm here."

"Go get your sister, please. I made your favorite." Patty smiled at her daughter who nodded and found her way to her step-sisters room.

Margaret knocked once in the door before opening it, not allowing for approval to enter, "C'mon my mom made waffles," she enforced the girl who she saw shoveling through her dresser drawers.

"I don't know what to wear tonight!" Judy whined, ignoring her sisters instructions.

"It's not gonna matter what you wear tonight if you don't tell your dad you're going out," Peggy started only receiving a stare from her sister, "You gotta tell him your going out with a greaser, he'll loose his mind if he finds out from someone else."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll do it at breakfast... can I borrow some clothes for tonight!?" Judy grinned knowing she would probably get a yes.

Margaret leaned against the door frame to elude the idea she was debating an answer, though they both knew she would agree, "We'll see but let's figure that out after school."

"So that's a yes!" Judy pumped her fist in the air before standing from the floor in front of her dresser.

Disregarding the mess she made, she walked past Margaret and made her way down the stairs before giving Patty the chance to call for them again.

As the girls got them selves situated for breakfast, the family of four found themselves sitting around the rounded kitchen table.

After taking a few simple bites out of the now room-temperature waffles her step-mother had prepared, Judy pushed away her plate and look directly at her father.

"Daddy, can I go out tonight?" the teenage girl shot her dad a wave of sadden puppy eyes, which led him to instantly doubt granting her wish.

"Why, where, and with whom?" William Fletcher instantly questioned his daughter knowing there was more to what she was asking.

"To the movies... with a boy." Judy explained to her father.

Her father instantly assumed she had the intentions of going on another date with the same boy from a few weeks prior, "You're going out with that Garett again? You know Judy, I've heard some things about him around the office... I don't think it's such a good idea..."

As her father trailed off, Judy stopped him from going any further, "Its not him Jeez! I don't like him anymore daddy, keep up!"

"Well then, I don't see a problem," Her father agreed feelings at ease knowing she wasn't seeing the boy whom he heard had a reputation of talking to various girls.

"Thanks daddy!" Judy began, but felt her sisters foot push against her under the table.

"Judy..." Margret whispered.

"fine," the girl mumbled under her breath, "Oh... and daddy, don't be mad..."

Her dad sighed as he tried to think of what could possibly be wrong, and what could be so important to keep him from his breakfast.
