#61 The Marauders Interview Two

Regulus sat on his bed, legs wrapped around James who was smiling at him smugly. Regulus fell back on the bed and grunted as James came and laid on top of him,

"James I thought we only had to do one of these"

"Well turns out people really liked the last one, Eryn's met more people since last year and our fans want to know more"

"Fans? We're not celebrities"

"Maybe not, I wonder who'd play us if we were though..."

Regulus looked up at James and rolled his eyes, he went to touch up his eye make up before they left and James fixed his shirt as the two made their way out of their dorms and around the corner to the Hufflepuff common room. When they got there, all of their friends were waiting outside patiently for them to arrive.

"Took you long enough"

"Oh zip it Marlene we were just getting ready"

"Well you both look great, now, does anyone know how to open the Hufflepuff door?" Lily looked at the barrels confused.

"James and I aren't opening it because I know what happens if you get the passcode wrong" Regulus stood back, he had just got himself presentable for the camera he wasn't going to risk that getting ruined.

"What happens?" James asked curiously,

"This, hey Sirius" Barty smiled,

"What?"

"Knock on the third barrel twice, second barrel once and fourth barrel three times"

Sirius shrugged and did what Barty said, as soon as the code was finished a barrel's worth of butter beer was sprayed at him for getting the passcode wrong.

Remus started laughing and stood back impressed, "didn't know Helga was a prankster? Good on her"

Evan walked over and tapped the right rhythm on the barrels before listening at the door opened and they were greeted by a fellow Hufflepuff. Dorcas smiled at two Hufflepuffs who were smoking near the window, all cosy on the soft armchairs.

"They don't call them HufflePUFFS for no reason hey?"

James and Regulus took a seat on the familiar chairs whilst Barty and Evan mingled with the Hufflepuffs they were friends with, Remus walking over to some of his stoner friends who had a cigarette already held out to him and Lily and Pandora saying hi to their herbology friends.

Soon Eryn came out with her new Hufflepuff scarf and the same time turner necklace she had worn the year before, Pandora once again explaining to Sirius that "Pandora" was a muggle shop and that she did in fact not make time turners as a side hustle (👀).

"Hey everyone! Really nice to see you all again and thank you Regulus and James for coming to this interview. The new readers, and some from last time too, have been eager to hear from you again"

"I'm excited to see what new chaos they bring this time" James laughed,

"I will admit I didn't have a terrible time last year so let's hope your new readers are as entertaining as the old ones" Regulus smiled cockily,

"Alright don't pressure them like that, and I've given them the option this time to just comment if they don't have any specific questions so who knows, maybe that ego will deflate"
