I guess Dan had heard the car as we drove up the road because as I was looking out if the car window, he emerged from his tent, curious to see who was driving to the campsite. He obviously didn't recognize the car but once he saw me waving at him, he smiled and waved back. I watched as he turned and yelled something and Jessica's head popped out from his tent.
It was at that moment I noticed his shirt buttons were undone. Oh..OH...uh gross! Ugh no, I'm so not going to think about that, no way. I am not going to think about why his shirt is undone and half tucked and messed up.

They were probably getting frisky.
DAMN IT! I told myself I wasn't going to go there!
I guess I was making a face because after Jane had put the car in park she turned and asked, "Why do you look like you sucked on a lemon? Something wrong?"
"Oh, no, nothing. I was...uh, I was just remembering how awful it is sleeping in a tent."
She laughed, "I feel you, my idea of camping is going to a nice, peaceful, rustic spa."
I chuckled at that, "Well, you ready Jane?"
"You mean am I ready to convince your brother to let you move in with me? Psh, watch me charm his socks off."
"I don't mean to shake your confidence or burst your bubble but I think my brother is wearing flip flops at the moment."
She waved a hand dismissively at my joke, "You know what I mean."
We got out of the car and I ran to give Dan a hug. "Hey Dan, hey Jessica! Nice to see you weren't attacked by any wild animals while I was gone."
Dan laughed, "Yeah no wolves or bears." I know he said that to tease me about my freak out the other night but HA! Jokes on him since I really did see a wolf! Well, werewolf, you know. "However, we did have some raccoons come by and steal some food Jess accidentally left out."
Reminded of the incident, Jessica's face twisted, "Ugh, we caught them digging through my overnight bag. I'm going to have to burn the thing now."
Seriously? That's not just a tad extreme? "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Also, not to change the subject but guys, I would like you to meet a new friend of mine. Dan, Jessica, this is Jane! Jane owns the cabin I've been staying at."
Dan extended his hand to Jane, "So you're the one who's been keeping an eye on my pesky sister huh? Haha. Well it's very nice to meet you!"
Jane shook his outstretched hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you! Thank you so much for sparing Victoria, it was an absolute blast having her as a guest."
"I'm glad to hear she didn't cause you too much trouble but seriously, it's me who needs to be thanking you immensely. If you hadn't found my sister in the woods, well, I hate thinking about what could have happened to her."
Jane chuckled, "I wish I could take credit for a brave rescue but Victoria actually made it all the way to my house on her own. However, she is safe and sound and that's the important part!"
"Yeah Dan!" I chipped in, "I'm here, all in one piece!"
Dan just gave me a look, "See if I ever taken you camping again."
I smirked at my brother, "You really shouldn't."
He raised one eyebrow at me and tried not to smile, he was never very good at playing the bad guy.
