Victoria's POV

Almost two hours later the movie was over and we were both jumping off the sofa to stretch and get some blood flowing back into our limbs. I guess we had both been a little nervous while sitting together on the sofa since neither of us moved the entire film.

I think maybe once or twice he might have tried to place his arm around me but I'm not sure, the whole thing was a tad awkward. I mean, I'm still trying to figure out all of this. I'm not really sure where Blake and I stand.

Obviously I've gotten past the werewolf and alpha thing but we never actually talked about the mate thing. I'm desperate for some more information but I don't want to keep asking Blake question after question. I hope he brings it up himself soon.

"Did you like the movie?" Blake asks, snapping me out of my thoughts and bringing me back to earth.

"Yeah, it was good!" I'm totally lying and not because I didn't like the movie but being perfectly honest I just didn't really pay attention to it. Hey can you blame me? I was way too busy fighting the army of butterflies in my stomach. Sitting next to Blake was the ultimate distraction and ridiculously nerve wrecking.

Gosh I really hope he doesn't ask me anything about the movie!

"Well are you hungry? If you are we can head downstairs for an early dinner."

Woohoo! He didn't ask about the movie!

I open my mouth to answer him that yes, actually I am pretty hungry when my stomach beats me to it. A loud gurgling sound comes from my stomach and Blake starts to laugh.

How embarrassing! Why stomach?! Why would you betray me?

I sheepishly look up at him and start to explain, "Sorry, I haven't had anything to eat since breakfast."

Blake stops laughing and a very serious look comes over his face, "What seriously? That's crazy, I'm pretty sure if I don't eat every couple hours I'll die."

"Wait will you seriously die if you don't eat every two hours?? Is that some kind of werewolf anatomy thing? That's terrible!"

Oh man werewolves are so weird! I wonder if he needs to keep a timer with him so he knows when he needs to eat..

Again Blake's deep and soothing voice echos through my thoughts and brings me back to reality, "Haha, No silly, I won't literally die if I don't eat every two hours! I was just joking because werewolves have fast metabolisms and we truly enjoy food and eating."

Oh. Oops.

"Anyways we really should get some food into that stomach of yours, so lets head down to the kitchen to see what we can find." And with that Blake turns and gently picks up my hand and pulls me from the room.

It was innocent enough, a simple touch, yet it felt like a shock of electricity shot through my whole body. It made me giddy and excited, was I falling for him?

Well that's a silly question, as crazy as it sounds...you know the answer is yes!

We make our way down the stairs and into the kitchen and he leads me over to the kitchen table.

"Here, I want you to relax and sit at the table while I look around for something to eat and then I want to talk to you about something important."

I sit myself down at the table wondering what he may be wanting to talk about.

Five minutes pass with Blake rummaging through cabinets and slamming them shut, then seven minutes, then ten, and then finally Blake walks back over to me.
