Blake's POV;
I watched Victoria as she left the room and went upstairs. I let out a big sigh and walked to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.
Jake was the first to speak up, "Dude, you took her to Lucy? How awkward was that?"
I popped the top off the bottle and took a long chug, I was not in the mood for this conversation.
"I took her to the pack's doctor, what would be awkward about that?" I responded passively, trying to act oblivious.
This time Jane piped in, "Oh come on, please tell me that was sarcasm or something. You can't be serious. So tell us the truth, how awkward was it?"
I let out a sigh, "Fine, since it's obvious you're not going to let this one go and I really don't want Victoria to overhear, I'll tell you. Yes. It was pretty awkward. Can we all move on now?"
"No we can not move on!" Jane started, "Also, what do you mean you don't want Victoria to overhear? Did you not tell her who Lucy was?"
I took another swig of water before I responded, "No, I didn't tell her because the thought of explaining to her that I was in a relationship with Lucy makes me feel damn uncomfortable. Besides its not that important, the relationship wasn't even serious."
Jake scoffed, "You don't think it's important to tell her that you and little Dr. Montgomery were, you know, friends with benefits? Because that seems kinda important to me."
"Yeah, I have a feeling she'd like to know. Not only that but it was a pretty well known fact around here that the two of you were getting it on and I don't think it'd end well if she heard it from someone else." Jane added.
Helen had been quiet up until this point but suddenly chipped into the conversation, "You know Blake, I think they have a good point. There is a very good chance that someone will let it slip and it'll probably hurt her that you weren't upfront and honest."
"I know I know!" I threw my hands up in surrender, "I know I should tell her but I don't want to push her over the edge. It's bad enough she's been welcomed to the pack by a criminal and I honestly just don't want to explain the whole Lucy thing to her."
"Just tell her you're an idiot," Jake chuckled, "because you know, the whole you sleeping with the doctor thing was pretty freaking stupid in my opinion."
"Thanks for that." I responded while rolling my eyes.
"All teasing aside," started Jane, "you do need to tell Victoria. Sooner rather than later. She needs to know that she can trust you, especially when all this other stuff is going on. Plus, I mean, who knows, humans sleep around all the time so she might not think anything of it. I mean if she was a werewolf she'd probably kill you for doing something that stupid but seriously, you need to tell her."
I knew they were right. I just hated thinking about what I did. Sleeping around with other werewolves before you find your mate is a huge "no no" in the wolf world. You basically start messing with nature and creating bonds that weren't meant to happen.
"Alright, I know. I'll tell her." I sighed walking over to the medicine cabinet, "Well I need to go take her some Advil." I grabbed the bottle and headed upstairs. I just hope being honest doesn't screw things up...
I slowly walked up the stairs while running hypothetical scenarios through my mind.
All too soon I was at her door knocking. I waited a minute, no answer, so I knocked again. Finally I could hear her soft voice yell out for me to come in.
I slowly opened the door and peeked in, she was laying on the bed looking adorable and groggy."Victoria? Are you alright? I was waiting for you downstairs with the Advil but you never came back down..." I asked gently, I hope she's not upset with me.
"Oh, yeah I'm sorry! I meant to only lay down for a moment but I fell asleep." She quickly apologized.
I slowly walked into the room and closed the door behind me. I was a little concerned because even from across the room, she looked like she was going to be sick.
"How are you feeling? You look a little pale." I asked as I gently sat down next to her on the bed.
"Sure," she started, "I'm alright. I just had a bad dream..."
