Chloe, a typical 16-year-old girl, had just finished her year-end exams and went on a vacation with her family. Now, they were on their return journey. Chloe loved reading and watching murder mysteries and was fond of luxury. It was late at night, almost 2 AM, when the bus they were traveling in suddenly stopped. Due to poor connectivity in the area, everyone had to disembark. Someone spotted a huge manor from the window and suggested taking shelter there since the driver estimated it would take up to 6 hours to repair the bus. Staying in the bus was boring, and they might get help from the villagers, so everyone headed towards the manor.
Chloe knocked on the door, but there was no answer. She gave the door a little push, and it swung open. With her cousin Emma by her side and her parents walking behind her, Chloe felt more excited than scared. The manor's atmosphere reminded her of the mystery stories she loved. Emma, a social media influencer, immediately took out her camera and started recording.
"Hey everyone, we're at this creepy manor..." she whispered, but was cut off by a painting falling from the wall of the living room. Chloe rushed towards the painting, and Emma followed. The painting was labeled "Georgia Willington."
Chloe stared at the painting in shock and later turned towards her parents, whispering, "Great Grandmother."
