The passageway led them underground into a series of tunnels and caverns. The walls were adorned with ancient carvings and artifacts that provided clues to the enchantress’s history and the nature of her treasure.
"We must be getting close," Liam said, his voice echoing off the stone walls.
Suddenly, they heard voices echoing through the tunnels. They weren't alone.
"Quick, hide!" Edmund whispered.
They ducked behind a large rock, peering out to see Victoria and Helena making their way through the tunnels.
"We need to get to the treasure first," Victoria was saying. "Keep an eye out for any traps."
Chloe glanced at the others. "We have to stop them."
They moved quietly, staying out of sight as they followed Victoria and Helena. The tunnels were filled with puzzles and riddles that needed to be solved to progress further. Sophie, with her sharp mind, led the way, solving most of the clues.
As they reached a large chamber, the final riddle awaited them. Carvings on the walls depicted a story from mythology, hinting at the location of the treasure near the sapphire rings."The clue said, 'When the sun sets and the light hovers over the rings, it will lead your way towards the next adventure,' Edmund reminded them.
With Sophie’s help, they deciphered the final riddle, revealing a hidden door at the back of the chamber.
