Chapter 12: The Mystics' Prophecy

Chloe, Emma, Sophie, and Liam entered the meadows, a sea of green stretching before them, dotted with wildflowers that swayed in the gentle breeze. The air was filled with the soft, enchanting melodies of an unseen source, drawing them deeper into the heart of the meadow.
"Do you hear that?" Chloe asked her eyes wide with wonder.
"It's beautiful," Emma replied, her face reflecting the same awe.
They followed the sound, their curiosity guiding them through the tall grass and vibrant blooms. The melody grew louder, more distinct, until they finally came upon a clearing. There, they found a group of mystics, clad in flowing robes, singing in perfect harmony. The mystics' voices rose and fell in an otherworldly symphony, filling the air with magic.
The group stood in respectful silence, listening to the song. When the mystics finished, the head mystic, a regal lady with silver hair and piercing blue eyes, stepped forward.
"Welcome, travelers," she greeted them with a warm smile. "I am Seraphina, the head of this circle. What brings you to our meadows?"
Chloe stepped forward, recounting their journey and their quest to uncover the mysteries of the ancient manor and the magical treasure. Seraphina listened intently, her eyes shining with interest.
When Chloe finished, Seraphina spoke, her voice carrying a tone of prophecy. "In the shadow of the palace, where the moonlight dances, a descendant of the enchantress waits. He holds the key to the secrets you seek."

Chloe exchanged a look with Emma, Sophie, and Liam. "A descendant of the enchantress?" she asked.
"Yes," Seraphina nodded. "His name is Edmund. He is about your age and lives in a palace near your next destination."
"Thank you, Seraphina," Liam said. "We will find him."
Seraphina smiled enigmatically. "May the light guide your path."
With renewed determination, the group set off toward the palace. The prophecy of the mystic echoed in their minds, and the prospect of meeting the descendent filled them with anticipation.
