Chapter 13: The Zip line to Destiny

As they moved toward the palace, they came across a steep cliff with no apparent way to cross. After some searching, Liam discovered a zip line stretching across the chasm. They decided it was their only option.
One by one, they zipped across. Emma was the last to go, but halfway across, her zip line came to an abrupt stop. The others shouted for her to swing her legs to get moving again. With some effort, Emma got the zip line moving, and Liam caught her as she reached the other side. Chloe gave her sister a teasing look, noticing the way Liam had caught Emma, but was relieved she made it safely.
As they approached the palace, its majestic exterior loomed before them. They knocked on the grand door, and a maid answered, ushering them inside. In one of the ornate rooms, they found a boy around Chloe's age sitting in a corner, engrossed in a vintage-looking book.
Liam stepped forward, "Are you the descendant of the enchantress the mystics talked about?"
The boy set his book aside and stood up. "I am. My name is Prince Edmund."
Introductions were made, and they shared their adventure so far. Edmund listened intently before excusing himself to retrieve something from the attic. He returned with an intricately designed box, setting it on the table before them.
The box looked like a puzzle piece with pictures that, when joined, formed a map to their next location. Edmund explained, "This box holds the key to finding the sapphire rings. You’ll need to solve the puzzle to reveal the location."
With a new sense of purpose, the group gathered around the box, ready to embark on the next part of their quest.
