3 years later..

I'm going to throw up.

After years and years of waiting it's officially our day.

I'm a bride.

My nerves are at their peak and I'm begging for someone to crank up the air conditioning.

"Babe, it's literally freezing in here. Penguins in Antarctica could live in here." Cherry crosses her arms over her chest as she stands behind the makeup artist currently doing my makeup.

I huff out. Cherry has been the perfect maid of honor. She's calmed me down at least fifteen times.

Even when I thought I lost my dress.

"Hon' where's the phone charger?" My other best friend Stella pops her head out from the bathroom. Cherry and I met her in college and we became a close group.

Cherry walks to her suitcase and fishes her charger out, handing it to Stella who thanks her.

"Ok, wedding is in twenty minutes." Cherry looks down at her watch before walking over and unzipping my dress.

The makeup artist is done with my look so I walk over and have Cherry and Stella slip my dress up and button it.

I'm the most indecisive person so of course it took me four months to decide on a dress.

It's perfect. A dove colored white with a corset style bodice and a princess skirt.

I go to the mirror and practically sob.

I'm a bride!

The photographer sets up all her pictures and before I know it I'm going to walk down the aisle.

"We can run away right now," Cherry pokes me and smiles jokingly.

"Cher! Don't even kid about something like that!" Stella whispers in an insulted voice.

"She knows I'm kidding," cherry rolls her eyes before she turns to walk with Luke down the aisle.

They smile at each other and I can tell Luke made an inappropriate joke with the face Cherry makes.

Stella's boyfriend, George, steps forward holding his hand out which she takes with a blush on their face.

They met in college when she was out with me. Reese knew George and I guess they were having a boys night when we ran into them.

The rest is history.

The music changes and I know it's time.

I walk down the aisle trying not to trip, biting my lip in concentration.

I glance up to see Reese standing there looking as handsome as ever with tears in his eyes.

Precious boy.
