So, as many of you awesome readers may have noticed, I've changed the cover again!
The new cover was met by much love, and there are some who yearn for the long-lived eyeball cover. So, thanks to a brilliant suggestion that read my mind like Coris's mesmerizing gray eyes, I've decided to gather all the covers of Luminous here with some commentary from le me.
(To be safe, I added faint watermarks, and cropped out a bit from the bottom of the covers to get rid of the distracting watermark from the watermarking website I used. Talk about WATERMARKCEPTION!)
So, the first cover Luminous ever had (pre- February 2020 to July 2020)...I lost it. I clearly remember having glimpsed it somewhere recently, but after scouring my PC and cloud drives, I can't seem to locate it at the present. I'll add it as soon as I find it. So, please settle for an accessibility description for now (laffs).
Basically, it was stock photos I mashed together on Photoshop of Meya in a red dress, seen from the back, staring out at the sea with Everglen's volcano and its signature spiral clouds in the distance. That concept lived on in the second cover.
*UPDATE* Guys, I FOUND IT! I was changing the cover on Inkitt and it was in the uploaded file archive. Trigger Warning: Cringe Photo Editing! /joking joking.

Luminous being my first original novel, I planned it as a stand-alone. I hadn't imagined the first half of Meya's adventure would become so long and split into several anime-like arcs, that Meya's journey to Everglen must be pushed further and further away, necessitating the need for a second and possibly third book.

This second cover was commissioned and finished in early August 2020, and is probably the first one for most early readers, since this was right after Luminous topped the Fantasy and Adventure Hot Lists in July.
In the foreground, we have Meya with her flaming strawberry blonde hair, wearing the Lattis collar, with her eye glowing on the shadowed half of her face, hinting at her hidden half as a dragon. In the back we have Arinel with her potion vial, Zier holding The Axel, and Coris and Gillian positioned to show their opposing sides in the story.
