"Well, that's the only way, because there is no one else, who can have powers like that". Leo confirmed.
"Lola, who was very skilled, in combat".
"And Kane, could destroy anything, with just a punch".
"So, you don't think that the prophecy could be coming true",Scarelett asked.
"I am not sure, but, I am certain, that there will be, an uprising", Conrad informed.
suddenly, Amber's eyes, fluttered open.
Her first word was, "I thought I was gonna die".
"How am I, still alive"?, she pondered
"I for sure thought, I was a goner, when i saw, blue.
"What color " Conrad asked.
"Blue, was around her, and her eyes were red".
"That's the same thing that happened to Kane, whenever he was ready for a fight", Conrad muttered.
"But the weird thing is, that she first touched her necklace, then she fought me".
"Did you get a glimpse of what the necklace looked like"?, Scarelett pestered.
"It was, gold, and really shiny, that's all i saw".
Yep she is the daughter of Kane and Lola.
Lola has a necklace that doubles her powers.
"Kane has the blue aura around him, and his eyes, looked menancingly at you, before he striked", Conrad grimaced.
"This is crazy", Conrad said, "I have to inform, the council".
"I agree, this information we got, might start up, another war", Scarelett said.
We left the infirmary, well not all of us, mark stayed.
He said, "he needs to stay with Amber".
We all finally got to the council room.
Conrad said, "let me do the talking, they can be, pretty scary, when they are under a lot of stress".
I don't even know why we are going to them.
The heroes, ignore the problem.
We knocked on the door, and they actually let us in.
Conrad cleared his throat, and said,"we got a problem sir".
Steve sighed, and said, "we already know, we are getting a DNA test done.
Then Conrad asked, "I thought the leaders were powerless".
"Well, we didn't know that they had kids secretly" Steve sighed.
"Well, then, what are we gonna do about this" ?,, Conrad said.
"Well, he said, I don't know , they somehow knew about the vile, before we showed it to the public.
"What, do you think there is a mole"?, Conrad spat out.
"I'm hoping there won't be one, because I can't afford another war".
"Rebuilding, and the people, freaking out, it's just a lot of work", Steve huffed.
"I gotta hand it to you sir", I blurted out," it must really take a toll on you, all the stress."
"Are you mocking me?", he said, while raising a brow, no, sir I'm simply praising you.
"Wait a minute, aren't you the girl who was trying to save one of the outcasts?".
I gritted my teeth, and said, "yes, I believe in justice ,and equality".
"That's nice" he said, "you remind me of Conrad's mother, when you said all that".
I felt a hint of disgust, first, getting compared to a hero
Just, Ew.
But when i saw Conrad's small smile, I understood he lost someone, he loved dearly.
I gave a comforting smile, to Conrad.
"So, Barbra barked, is amber ok?, Amber is Barbara's only daughter.
"Don't worry, she is in good hands", Conrad reassured her.
"She is awake now".
"Oh thank goodness, i don't know what i would do without her", she said, with a sigh of relief.
"I can't believe that monster just took the vile, like that", Barbra tsked.
"Then on top of that, she might be the daughter of, Lola and Kane".
"I just can't take any more bad news.", Barbra ranted.
Then, karma came.
The door to the council room swung open, a dude holding a swab, said, "well sir, the DNA samples on amber were tested".
"The girl is in fact, the daughter of Lola and Kane.
