chapter 8

We got back to my house, I laid on the couch, and sighed. 

What a day. 

But that was quickly taken away, when lily, said, "you should probably get ready". 

"What's wrong with my outfit?" 

"You need to look your best, and besides, what you're wearing,  isn't giving, leader vibes". 

 "Judgey much," I muttered

I sighed, and said, "When is  the gathering?"

"like, in ten minutes", she smiled. 

"Dude", I said," why didn't you tell me, I had ten minutes". 

She shrugged, short term memory loss?" 

I rolled my eyes,  went up from the couch, and slammed my bedroom.

 I picked out an outfit that flashed, leader vibes. 

 I checked  in my full length mirror, and said, "you got this". 

Lily, yelled,  "hurry up". 

I sighed, and said, "coming".

"Ok, lets go", I smiled. 

"Aren't you forgetting something, or should I say someone", a voice said, behind me. 

"Omy gosh, almost forgot about Rob". 

He growled, and said, "very funny girls". 

We all got in the rundown car. 

lily says, it runs like a new one. 

Note to self, bring lily to an eye doctor. 

Her eyes kinda giving, blind  girl vibes, when she is driving, on the road. 

The car ride only took, fifteen minutes. 

We finally got there, and hopped, out of the car. 

there were  two guys standing out, and they said, "who are you?" 

I'm, Skylare walker, and these are my helpers. 

They gave me an up and down look. 

Then, one guard whispered in the other guy's ear. 

"Alright,  you may come in".

 I walked in and we sat down, at our assigned tables. 

I asked, lily "if the group leader from the mind reader had a son". 

She nodded, and said, "I think they do,  he's also around, your age". 

"What is his name?"

 "I think it's, Leo".

"Why, are you asking?" 

"Hold up, isn't that the guy, you were talking about earlier?"

I nodded, and said, "yes it was".
