Conrad drove us to lilies brunch inn.
We all sat down, mark sat across from amber, Conrad and scarlett sat across from each other, so did me and Leo.
"Ok guys, we got some intel about the women in the mask.
"Them women in the mast i smirked, "what a nice name.
Leo, kicked me under the chair. We know that she is part of the destruction group, Conrad continues.
"But she also has the powers of combat", scarelett added.
"Yes, your right", Conrad nodded.
"But how are we gonna locate her?", i asked.
"That's the tricky part", Conrad informed.
"But we did locate, the vile, amber said.
"It looks like in these pics, the mask women just dropped it", Conrad pointed out.
"Well, then why are we looking for her, if she doesn't have the vile?".
"She comited a serious crime", Scarelett sneered.
"The vile the only thing we could use, to take down the outcast?", Amber sighed.
"Wait so you're telling me, the outcast could take us down?".
"Yes", Conrad said.
"But we just keep them on a short leash, you know so they don't cross the line", Scareletts smirked.
I tried not to smile, but I felt angry.
"Why are we even fighting with the outcast, if they could just kill us?", I asked.
"Well, Conrad said its complicated".
I rolled my eyes everything is complicated.
"well, how are we gonna find this woman?", Scarelett huffed.
"Well I did have an idea but it's absurd", I said, quietly.
"Oh then, lets not hear about it, Scarelett said, annoyed.
Conrad nodded for me to continue.
"Well, my father said to me, that the villian's are gonna make war, so I was thinking, what if we try to make peace?".
"What kind of plan is that?", is that Scarelett sneered.
"yeah", Amber said, they tried to kill me.
"But the thing I don't understand is, that she didn't kill me"?, amber pondered.
" What I see is a advantage, Conrad smiled.
"What do you mean", I asked.
"Well the reason that they must not kill, is because of the war".
"Why was there even a war?", I asked.
"Don't worry about it", Conrad said, it was a day where a lot of lives, were list, and death was all around".
"I see, well what started the war anyways?", I asked.
"Oh you don't know the history of the war?", Conrad asked.
"Not really, I shrugged.
"Well some say Lola was a hero slash villian".
"What do you mean, hero, slash villian?, I asked.
Lola used to work in the field, Scarelett added.
"She was super smart", Amber said.
"But she did some digging in the files, and she found a way, to make made own powers", Conrad said, while shaking his head.
"What", I said she made her own powers, ?", I asked.
"Yeah, she found a way to have powers, even if she wasn't born with them", mark stated.
"But the council, wasn't happy about this", Conrad continued.
Not, suprised there. "Well then, what happened to her research?".
"It got wiped form the system, when she left", Conrad said.
"We then tried to get it back, but it was gone", Scarelett added.
She told her friends, and family, but they said, she has gone mad, cause only the leaders of the groups and their children, have powers", Amber chimed in.
"So they told her to destroy the evidence, of what she discovered", mark said.
But Lola was not happy, with all the hard work, that didn't get recognized", Conrad said.
"I think she was a drag," scarelett scoffed.
"She should have known, what was coming to her, like if I ever created something like that, I would destroy it", she went on.
"Well first of all", I said, you would first have to be smart, and we all know you are not".
"Can I finish my story?", Conrad sighed.
"Long story short, she quit the heroes and joined the outcast", "That's horrible, she was misunderstood".
The worst part is she joined the side, that we thought she would never join", Conrad said.
"She made her own group, called it the combat group, of the outcast", Conrad said.
"The powers he created were too strong, even the heroes couldn't stop her", amber added.
"What happened to her?", I asked.
"She got married, and boom the war", mark said.
"I never heard that side of the story before", I said.
But some things just don't click in my head, as I want them to, I thought.
I checked the clock and said, "oh crap, I'm late".
I got up and said, "I need to go". "Freeze", Scarelett stopped me.
"Why", she asked.
"My sister, needs me to take care of the dog, it has fleas", I lied.
"Alright, just don't forget the council needs us tomorrow, early in the morning , she said.
"You can't be late", Conrad added.
I gave them a smirk and said I wouldn't call it late, but being, fashionably late".
I took Leo's hand and said, "lets go".
