Leo and I left the scene, that I just had made.
"So", I said, "what do you actually want to do now?".
"Well I was wondering, if I could hang at your place?", Leo asked.
"What trouble in paradise?", I smirked.
"No, he said, its just my dad is gonna be annoying, also he wants me to go to a party.
"Why don't I come?", I thought, out loud.
"You want to come?", he asked. "Sure", I said, there is nothing I can really do and I want to get some info about the council".
"Ok, he said, then its settled your coming with me?".
"Its not a date, but yes, I am".
We got home and I opened the door, I saw Lucas, sitting int he kitchen, crap I forgot he was here.
"Sup, he said, he shifted his eyes, to Leo, "what is Leo doing here?".
"Well I invited him over, I said.
"So I was wondering if you would just leave the kitchen area.
Lucas smirked, and said, "whatever, see you at the party, also Leo don't be late.
"I don't want to feel dads wrath down my back, I'f you dot show", Lucas sighed.
He slammed the door and it was finally quiet.
"Alright now since he is out of our hair, lets get down to business", I smirked.
I got him a glass of water and he said, "thank you".
I sat down on the stools and he said, "I never felt more at home when I am in this house", he sighed.
I crunched my nose and said, "whys that"?, I asked.
"I don't truly know", he muttered.
Then he got serious, "hey, um, Skylare", he asked.
"What", I said, while putting down my water.
"Why are you being so nice to me?". I sighed and said,
" I already told you Leo, I feel like me and you could work together, to make this world a better place, for the outcast", I replied.
"That's why you want to go to the council?", he asked.
"Wait, your serious", he choked, on his water.
"Yes, I don't believe our parents are dead".
He sighed, and said, "What do you mean?".
"Well the heroes said, "that my mom worked as a scientist, she also created a vile, that could make a hero without powers, have powers.
" Skylares what are you saying,?" Leo said, confused.
"It just weird, because they want the world to be a better place, my mom Made a discovery that could help that.
"Yeah, it doesn't make sense," Leo pondered.
"But the real question is, the vile she made, was so powerful, even the heroes couldn't destroy her", I said.
"Leo nodded, "your not wrong there".
So, I was wondering, if you could help me look for my mom and dad?", I smirked.
He shook his head, and said, "there gone, Skylares, everyone knows that", he sighed.
"You don't know that, I said angrily, " we could all be wrong, so please, just this one time?"
He sighed, and said, "I'll think about it".
"Thank you, thank you", I said.
He smirked, and said, " I will think about it".
"Ok buddy, you do that", I mocked.
"Oh, I also got a thought, we might need more people for this operation".
"What do you mean more people?".
"Well I was hoping we would recruit a group, to help us".
"Who's all gonna be in the group", Leo asked.
I shook my head, "your not in the group yet, so I cant tell".
"Whatever", he smiled.
He looked at his watch and said, "crap, we have to leave".
"Do I need to dress up or anything?".
Leo got up and said, "no, your fine".
He hopped in his car, and left.
The car ride there was a good kind of quiet.
Finally we pulled in his huge driveway.
We got out, while rushing to the door.
The maid was already standing there, tapping her feet.
Leo gulped and said, "sorry, Mary".
She huffed, and said, "you better get your but in there, before your dad has a cow.
He nodded and we headed to the back, everyone was dressed up nicely.
I glared at Leo, he was scanning the place for his dad.
"You told me I shouldn't dress up".
He shrugged, and said, You looked nice to me".
I smirked at his complement? Then heck came out way, Mr mind reader was looking at us.
He came over and said, "song why are you so late?"
Leo rolled his eyes and said, " at least I showed, father".
Then the mind readers shifted his gaze on me, "what is she doing here?" I invited her, father", Leo sneered.
"I can see that, son", the mind reader scoffed.
Suddenly a girl and her father came to view.
The mind reader said in a hush tone, "Don't humalitate me alright".
Leo rolled his eyes and muttered, "you do that all on your own father".
I chuckled at that.
The girl smiled and said " hows it going leo.
Leo smiled and said, "I'm doing good, how about your rose?".
She leaned in and said, "to be honest with you, this party is a drag".
She then glanced at me, and said, "who's she, and why can't I smell her?"
