The Meet

Mikha's POV:

We're currently on our way to the airport para sunduin sila. I feel nervous. I don't know how I'll face Maloi knowing I've never seen her in person since that night. I have no idea about her changes or her new personality whatsoever. Based on her messages these past few days, it's still the Maloi that I know.

I feel tense, I feel suffocation. I'm too anxious for this, why am I even anxious meeting her? I'm already okay. Bakit kinakabahan ako? It's like when I imagine if she talks to me, I wouldn't know what to say. I feel like I'm shaking.

"Hoy Mikhs! Okay ka lang? It's going to be fine, si ate Maloi lang 'yon. Best friend mo, ay! Ex best friend nga pala." Sabi sa akin ni Sheena.

Hindi talaga nawawala kakulitan nito kahit saan.

"I'm not nervous, I just don't feel comfortable meeting her. Why do I have to be here anyway?" A lie.

Obviously, I wanted to meet her for so long. I'm such a coward. I admit.

Maloi's POV:

Nakakita na kami ng Van na puno nang mga babae at for sure sila na 'yon. Hindi pa nakakahinto ang Van pero feel ko na yung kaba ko, para akong sasabog.

Mikha's POV:

We're here and I already wanna get away. I feel tensed and I think I'm sweating.. kahit nakabukas ang aircon ng Van. We're not even parked yet but I feel like I wanna hide and jump wherever.

Maloi's POV:

The door of the Van opened and all of them ran up to me and hugged me. I miss them so much. Parang gusto ko umiyak ulit sa saya. Kiniss ako ni Sheena sa cheeks ng ilang beses, ang kulit talaga hindi pa rin nagbago ang ugali. Every one of them gave me a hug and proceeded to take care of our luggages. I saw Mikha.. she greeted me. Ang puso ko!

Mikha's POV:

The door opened and Sheena immediately jumped out of the Van para i-hug at i-kiss si Maloi. The rest of the girls followed by giving her tight hugs and proceeded to take care of their things then I eventually got out of the Van and I saw Maloi.. she's still so beautiful. My heart.

"Hi" She responded while looking directly through my eyes.

I turned my head to help others with their luggages but Maloi grabbed my hand and oh.. my.. god. She wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me tight. I leaned a bit lower while she continued hugging me without saying anything.

I don't know what to do next, I'm gonna explode.

"Hoy! Tama na 'yan, aalis na tayo." Stacku suddenly talked.

Thankfully. I pulled her arms and I just went to the Van immediately, sasabog na talaga ako. I really need to get out of here.

Maloi's POV:

"Yakap na 7 years pang-bawi." Jhoanna silently said.

"May paiyak na sa tabi ko dahil hindi raw siya hinug pabalik!" Stacey suddenly yapped about it.

Ayaw ko pa sana bumitaw sa pag-yakap. Namiss ko si Mikhs sobra sobra. Pero parang ayaw niya ako makita ah?

Umupo na lamang ako sa tabi ni Stacku, si Mikha nasa likod, while ate Aiah and Jho are sitting beside each other, si Sheena and Gwen ay magkatabi sa gilid, si Colet naman ay nagd-drive. Si Mikha lang mag-isa sa likod. Sasamahan ko ba? Lilipat na sana ako nang may biglang tumawag sakaniya.
