Mixed Signals (MikhaLoi)

Courting stage

Mikha's POV:

Days before the date, we had a few free concerts at some places here at the Luzon. We performed, we get to meet our fans, and have some rest days. 

"See you?" Ate Aiah texted me.

"See you." I replied.

Ate Aiah and I talked about the date. She said that it would be a nice dinner lang sa new restaurant near at our condominium. I'm not surprised, I know ate Aiah likes me at the first place. Though she was keeping it cool, that's just funny.

"Should I still call her ate during the date? For god's sake I don't know!" I whispered to myself.

I called ate Aiah when I arrived at the restaurant. She told me to tell the waiter about the reservation "Aiah Arceta" so I could stay there and wait for her.

When I saw the table, it's very formal and delicate at the same time. I never knew she'll prepare something this grand for a date. Nice taste.

I'm here, waiting for her. I sat still and checked my phone when a tall appealing girl wearing a red fitted dress with heels approached me, it must be her.. it must be ate Aiah. And I'm right. Maloi never lied when she told me na ang ganda ganda niya.. I've been with ate Aiah, but gosh it's like this is the first time I met this girl. This is another side of her?

"Mikha Lim?" She called me.

"Hey, ate Aiah. You look good." I told her and stood up to drag the chair in front of me for her.

"Thank you." She smiled. Every time she's smiling, nawawala talaga ang mga mata niya.

"So.. ate Maloi told me na you like me? Ate Aiah.. why?" I straightly asked her.

"You fascinate me and well ah you know, sa mga taon na magkasama tayo and mas lalo kitang nakilala.. is that an enough reason for you?" She giggled genuinely after responding.

Aiah's POV:

I thought the date will be hella awkward since I know that Mikha is not the type of person who would talk a lot, but she's really a great listener though. Mikha is eye-catching.. she's pretty and handsome at the same time. I feel like she is really built for that aura talaga. She's very charismatic overall!

Minutes later, we continued to talk about things. We talked about the girls, how we all became close with each other, and even expressed ourselves. It's such a nice date. It was not awkward at all, naninibago ako sakanya.

Sa uulitin.

"Ate Aiah, it's getting late na. Why don't we go?" She said when we stopped talking about each other's anecdotes.

"Oh yeah! I have to go na rin, pakisabi sa girls na hindi muna ako sa condominium mags-stay tonight since my mom told me na puntahan ko sila. Sa uulitin?" I told her while she just nods then we had our goodbyes with each other.

Mikha's POV:

I just got here at the condominium. Oh god, the girls are excitedly waiting for me. I'm sure kakamustahin nila yung date.

"OMG! How's the date Mikhs?!" Ate Maloi asked excitedly, it's like she's almost shouting.

"BAGAY NA BAGAY MIKHA AND AIAH, MIKHAIAH LAYAG!" Stacey also yapped.

"My parents!" Jhoanna said with a kilig facial expression.

"Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee who?" Ate Colet teased.

"Ang OA talaga ng mga ito. What are y'all saying." I said since I was really annoyed. I raised my one eyebrow on them and even rolled my eyes. I'm so proud of myself.
