"What do you mean the Oni Troop 23 was killed in the realm of Chima?" London asked. The messenger kept his head down as he bowed low towards King London.
"They were attacked by these inhumane creatures and slaughtered." The messenger repeated.
"Aren't Oni indestructible? How could they die!" London yelled, his eyes flickering into a brighter color.
"They aren't from this world, and when we leave the first realm, our powers slowly disappear, and since we've been here for so long, our invincibility has worn off." The messenger explained. London pounded his fist against his throne in anger.
"So to regain their invincibility I need to send them back to the first realm?" London asked. "For how long?"
"A year..." The messenger answered. "to regain their full power."
"A year? Seriously! I can't work with that!" London groaned in frustration, rubbing his palms over his face as he tried to calm himself down. The messenger just bowed there, unsure of what to do. "You may be dismissed."
Given this new news, London needed to create a plan to make the Oni regain their lost powers.
"You there," London said, calling out one of the guards near the left exit. The guard pointed to himself. "Yes you. Go find me Garmadon, I need a consult."
The guard nodded before disappearing to find Garmadon.
"I see your plans aren't working as well as you thought they would be," Lloyd smirked, appearing in front of London. "Looks like it won't take a week after all."
London scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Only a minor set back, i'll have my troops up and running in no time."
"I don't think a year is 'no time'" Lloyd mocked, floating on his back. London swatted Lloyd away. "And besides I don't think you have a year. Pains lie that will put you in a coma just like it did with me."
"No it won't. This is different. And besides I'm way stronger than you," London snapped.
"Physically in your shape shifted body, sure. But mentally no. You'll go insane if you can't stop your pain." Lloyd taunted, floating on London's shoulder. "Because your pain can only get worse from here."
As if Lloyd planned it, the tensing sensation was back in London's body. But this time is was stronger than usually. He felt like his body was being pulling, as if two forces were trying to split him apart. His heartbeat rapidly pumped blood to all parts of his body turning him unnecessarily red.
"That doesn't look too comfortable at all. Oh well, I hope you suffer," Lloyd smiled before disappearing to where he came from.
After the attack, London was left sputtering and gasping for breath as he tensed and untensed his muscles in pain. Lloyd was right, he had to solve this. And quick.

"So where exactly can we find dragons?" Harumi asked, as the group formed for another meeting.
"The first realm is the only realm that we know to have dragons. And if the oni haven't killed all the dragons there, we have connections that can get us dragon blood," Kai answered.
"Why would the onis slaughter all the dragons?" Skylor asked concerned. Kai shrugged.
"It seems like an Oni thing to do," He replied.
"Anyways, Zane, Pixal, how is the realm hopper coming along?" Nya asked, facing the two nindroids.
"We have made great progress," Zane turned his face downcast. "But we have reached a problem. We need a pure energy source to power the machine to be able to travel realms. This cannot be created artificially."
"So what can we do?" Cole asked. Pixal pulled out a laptop.
"We've been doing researching and running calculations and the only thing powerful enough to power the machine is the elemantal power of energy since it cannot run out and since it is a pure form of energy." Pixal said sadly. "But since the elemental is basically gone. We cannot complete the machine."
"Seriously? That's it? No other options at all?" Nya asked, running her palms down her face.
"Well there is another way, but the risks are a bit too great." Zane brought up. Pixal shot him a glance to say 'it's too dangerous' but Zane shot her one back saying 'we must try'. Pixal sighed, nodding her head.
"Well what is it?" Kai asked, growing impatient.
"Lloyd's powers are a combination of the four elemental masters of Fire, Earth, Lightning and Ice. Which is us. If we all combine our power, we can create Lloyd's power to power the machine." Zane explained.
"Wait, then can't we just use that power to destroy the oni?" Cole asked, looking for a shortcut.
"Nope, the power will create a ball like orb that cannot be used for fighting, or else it will destroy all of Ninjago due to it being an element with no master. The only way to destroy the orb is to give it back to the master himself, which is Lloyd. Which is what we will do when we free him from his own mind," Pixal said. The rest of the group nodded along.
"Well, what are we waiting for then?" Nya questioned.
"Well... the problem is that this ritual of power orb making is only available at a certain temple way outside Ninjago city. It should take 2 days to reach it." Zane said. The group groaned. "And the ritual itself takes about five hours and will completely drain you guys of all your energy which might cause your heart to stop beating if you can replenish it fast enough."
"That sounds... terrifying?" Kai said, his confidence in this plan depleting. "I kind of don't want to die if you know what I mean?"
"Well, Pixal and I can create a machine to jumpstart your heart and help it beat until your energy is back up. It should take us a day to create three of them." Zane said. "But I cannot guarantee that it will be successful. So who's in?"
"Well, its for Lloyd so I guess I'm in." Kai said.
"Me too." Cole answered.
"I don't know. I kind of want to think about it," Jay spoke up. All eyes turned to him.
