The next day I made my way to the cafe. I felt more happy than I have ever been. I felt, as Choji would say, free!

"Good morning Ms Addalynn."

I turned to see Suo walking up smiling. I remembered my brother explaining his fight from the day prior as him being a "gentleman". But his ways were different, he literally can make his opponent lose their mind and toy with them without breaking a sweat.. he's anything but gentle on the battle field but he is very much a gentle man to those he cares about!

"Good morning Suo, are you walking to the school? It's a little early.."

"Actually I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd go for a walk."

"Oh! Well would you like to go to the cafe and get some breakfast? It will be my treat?"

His eyes go wide and then soft.
"I'm not a big one on eating out but I will definitely take you up on that offer for some tea."
We then begin to walk the short distance to the cafe.

We go in and see Sakura at the bar counter where my sister always was, I couldn't help but smile.
"Good morning Kotoha!"
"Good morning Addie, oh good morning Suo! That's a surprise..how are you today?"

"Good morning Ms Kotoha, I'm good I was just taking a walk this morning."

I walked around the counter and Sakuras eyes caught onto mine. As I made hot chai tea for Suo and chai tea latte for myself, Kotoha made us a fruit parfait with oats.

"Good morning Sakura, how are you feeling?"
I look up as I talk to him.
He turned his gaze from me and had an irritated look.
"Tsk, what do you care.." he mumbled but I could hear him.
What's going on with him?
Suo smiled and sat at the booth a little behind Sakura.
"If I didn't care I wouldn't have asked you.."
He looked back at me with his eyes opened lightly wide with his cheeks somewhat blushed.
"I don't know if you have noticed yet but I care about you just the same as everyone else. You now go to Furin, and you became someone special to me..and it's not just me, there's Kotoha, there's granny, there's every one of the towns people.. Sakura you're not alone.."
His eyes shot open wide and cheeks still blushed.
I got a baggie out from my pocket, it had ointment, gaze and bandages in it, I set it on the counter next to him. I then poured three drinks. Suo's hot chai tea, and two chai tea lattes. I set one latte in front of him as he still looked at me shocked and I walked over to Suo, setting the drinks down. I walked over to the counter next to Sakura and he turns some towards me but doesn't look at me, I grab the parfaits and take them over to set them on the table.
"I know you said you don't like to eat out, you don't have to eat it if you don't want it, but it has a ton of protein and minerals to help boost your strength."
Suo smiles big at me.
"Thank you Ms Addie."
"I heard how you fight, Ume says you're quite the gentleman..but I think you twist the fight into your favor sometimes."

"Oh yeah? How is that?"
He asks with his eyebrow up.
"You get into their head, making them completely lose their minds, you throw the battle in a way where you have the upper hand and the control. You have the ultimate card on placing the battle to where you win. Ultimately you check mate them.."

"I would expect nothing less from you."
He smiled as I smiled back

We talked some about battles, the younger days, and how things have been going for us lately. Nirei even popped in to grab something to eat and sat next to Sakura. It was nice having everyone talking together.

"That was the best tea I've had in a while, thank you for inviting me Ms Addie."

"You can just call me Addie you know?"

"I understand.. I was just brought up that way."

"Oh I'm sorry, I just feel older than I really am when people call me that.."
