💭 "HEAD UP REIA!" Taylor yells out. I look up and see Miyoko coming at me I put my arms up, she hits me and sends me flying back.
Addie stands there with her arms crossed in front of her looking at the scene. "That's enough for now." She says, Taylor and miyoko walk away while Addie walks over to me and hands her hand out. "Follow me." She says with a reassuring smile.
I follow her, she was always so nice and calm.
"You're afraid..why?" She asked. "I.." I began to say and looked down. "I used to get beat as a child, I watched my mom get hit by my father.." Addie stops and looks over at me with her eyes wide open as I look down to the ground.
She then closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "I'm sorry.." She began to say then opens her eyes "But that should be all the more you fight... fight to survive.. fight to win." My eyes dart over to her going wide. "You are not going to be the same girl you were when all of that happened. You are going to be someone who will have confidence, someone who will be able to fight back and survive."
I couldn't believe how much faith she had in me.
"You should try taking your experiences and use it as fuel for your fighting. Don't go crazy or mad, make sure your emotions are in check. But use that to push through, to win your fights." She said and I thought about her words I never thought about using my experiences to my advantage.
Months had passed and I trained hard, even without the girls knowing..
I was up against Taylor and Miyoko.. yet again. My eyes were more determined.
They came at me full force. I blocked every attack but then Miyoko came in for a sneak attack. I dodged but then I decided to use Addies move. I went for a right hook, left, and right as she dodged it and then I smirked whipping my leg around in a circle to try and trip her but she jumps. I then look up smiling as I bend down, my leg extending to do a back kick. Miyokos eyes go wide and she smirks, blocking my kick and landing on her feet, skidding backwards. I stand up smiling with confidence. The girls all smiled with me and I look over to Addie. She had her hands in her jacket, lollipop in her mouth and a smile forms on her mouth. She takes one hand out of her jacket, using it to take the lollipop out of her mouth.. "That's what I'm talking about!"
She said with a huge smile, it makes me so happy seeing her so proud.
"Hell yeah!" Taylor said with a smile. "So that's what you've been hiding?" Miyoko said wiping her face off with her arm.
"What can I say.." I said shrugging with a smirk
They girls all laughed "Oh now she's got jokes." Taylor said "She's just being around us too damn much." Miyoko said smirking at Taylor.
"I think she's always had this inside." Addie said with a smile before putting the lollipop back in her mouth. I smirked at her comment knowing I always did have a sarcastic attitude. I just needed confidence..

"Guys are all the same.." I said as I sat down on the chair in the room. We were now 17years old, and I felt like every guy was the same, they were all assholes that just wanted girls body's.
"Is that why you lead them on and break them?" Taylor said laughing.
"Leave her alone, she's just a black widow, that's how we do shit." Miyoko said smirking.
"You know one day you're going to see not all guys are like that." Addie said with a smile as she leaned up against the wall.
"Yeah yeah, you talk about these amazing 'Furin boys' but I haven't seen any of them even compare." I said with a shrug.
"There's one that's a full blown gentleman." She said her eyes closing and the smile still playing on her face.
"Hmmm sure.." I said rolling my eyes, but I couldn't help becoming curious but still having my doubts.
That was until I finally got to meet 'him' in person...
"I'll take the handsome gentleman there, Suo. But I may devour him before dinner even gets here." I joked around with a flirty smile. "My pleasure, beautiful." He said with a sly smile.
I ended up training with him every day, before the war. He was so considerate, polite, and understanding..
We sat on the ground taking a break and I looked up at the sky.
"The orange of the sky painting in the blue is majestic." He said and I look over at him. His curtained hair and his brown eyes bringing me in. I used to tell myself I would flirt with guys but never get close, they were all the same after all... weren't they?
"The way it crosses the sky so freely, it's as if they become as one forming one amazing scene." My eyes go wide and then I turn to look at the sky again.
He then stands up smiling down to me.

This guy.. he wasn't like the rest.. he was truly.. a ... gentleman. In that moment I knew, I had fallen for him.

You're zoning out again princess." I looked up and saw Jinsuke staring out me.
"Let's get this over with, I have someone I want to see." I said with a smirk as I adjust my fighting gloves on my hands and walk some towards him.
After this I was about to make my way to that damn school and meet him there, once this war is done with I'm going to show him what I think and feel!
