Chapter 19: Remember

Addie's POV

For the next 10 days we trained like no other, exceeding our limits, pushing ourselves to become better than we were two weeks ago in mind, body and spirit. Over the weeks we became closer together, like a true family.
We ate meals everyday together, telling stories and jokes, laughing and smiling.

I stand there with my arms crossed looked at the bunch that we had in front of us. I think back to the night prior with the girls, we all stayed at Taylor's, even Kotoha tagged along this time.

💭 we sat on the floor in our comfy pjs laughing at something funny that Taylor had said that made Miyoko spit her juice out of her nose.

"So Reia I seen you getting close with that handsome gentleman this past couple of weeks. Is his hands as gentle as him, huh??"
Miyoko asks with her eyebrows going up and down.
We giggle some and wait for Reia to answer, she was blushing.
"His name is Suo, and his hands are anything but gentle on the field..but-"
We all looked at her waiting with giggly smiles.

"But what!?! Don't leave us hanging!"
Taylor said in anticipation.

"But they areeeeee gentle off the field."
"What!?!"
"Ohhhhhhh!"
We all said and then laughed.

"No on a serious note, he is very strong. In the past two weeks I could feel she's gotten stronger especially when he was able to go from other trainers and circle back to me. He learns a lot on the field."
She added on.

"I've noticed Sakura is a blossom worrier."
I said looking at the others.

"Really?"
Yūka asked while Reia chimed in.
"There's only a couple blossom warriors I have ever got to meet.."
"You and Ume being two of them."
Miyoko added.

"He's learned so much in just the short time he's arrived, and just like the other Furin boys he has heart. I was unsure when he came here, but when Kotoha was boosting about him on day one I knew something good was bound to happen. All of the first years have grown a lot, it's been amazing to watch them."

"Wait, wait hold up back it up!"
Miyoko said while pushing herself up towards Kotoha.
"Kota was boosting about a newbie!?"
Kotohas eyes went wide, her head turning immediately towards me and blushing some.
I get her a sheepish smile "hehe...oops.."
I say with my eyes closed and hands up.

"Kota has a crush!?"
Miyoko yelled.
"No way....." Reia said but looked at Kotoha who looked down. "really though!? Kotoha it's okay. We are happy for you!"

She looked up at them with an unsure look. I put my hand onto her hand reassuring her that everything was alright.

"Yeah seriously, we were kinda speculating if you were for guys or not."
Taylor said joking around.

"Whattttttt!?"
She yelled and we all laughed.

"Since we are on this topic why not we go around and say who our crushes and what we love about them?"
Yūka said and we all looked at her with a smile, she was always the sweet one, but right now it kinda seemed like she was ready to tell her secret that she's been keeping.

"I think that's a great idea."
I said and everyone else agreed.

"I guess Kotoha and I should go first since you guys already know.."
Reia said giggling some. She sits up and takes a soft purple pillow, hugging onto it.
"Man I feel like I'm at an AA meeting for lovers. Hello, I'm Reia, nice to meet ya. I have a bad ass attitude that I cannot control and I fell for a gentleman named Suo."
She started to say and we all began to laugh.
"When I first saw Suo I thought nothing more of him being cute even with an eyepatch, looking like Captain Hook out of Peter Pan.. but as time went on I got to know him for who he was.."
