Chapter 17: Its time..

Addie's POV

I woke up and looked around. The last thing I knew I was talking to Kaji.. my eyes go wide..

"oh god I fell asleep while talking to Kaji!"

"Ehhh..."
My heart felt like it stopped as I heard something in my room..
I looked down and see Kaji on my floor.

'Awe he slept here..'
I thought to myself.

I try to sit up but had to stop myself.
"Tsss, oweee"
I said, my knees and body hurt so bad, it felt as if I got ran over.

In an instant Kaji woke up, sitting up. I look at him in astonishment on how quick he woke up.
He walked over to my bed side, rubbing his eyes.

"What are you whining about?"

I stared at him blinking my eyes some.
"I-I had to get up."

"Why?"
"I-...."
I turned in embarrassment.

"Just spit it out already."
He said with an irritated look.
'Geeze he's even grumpier when he's tired."

"I have to go to the bathroom!"
I speak up.

"Don't yell at me."

"Pssshh. You're the one that told me to spit it out.."
I say while I cross my arms.

"I didn't say throw a fit like a five year old."
He commented as he picked me up in his arms.

"Ehhh." I said as I clenched onto him again.

"I'm not going to drop you."
He walked me to the bathroom, putting me down next to the sink

"You should start walking a little bit today to strengthen your knees. "
He said as he rubbed his eyes more and walked out closing the door behind him.

After I was done I washed my hands and opened the door to see him standing there.
I grabbed the walls while I walked slowly.

"Damn granny Soto can move faster than you when she had her hip replaced."
I look over at him with a 'shut the hell up' expression.

I finally made it to the bed. As I looked down, I see my bandages were bloody.

Kaji comes in with the first aid kit.
"I already saw that they needed changed."

He said as he opened the case up, bringing the desk chair in front of the bedside, in front of me.
He cut the old bandages and set them down. He pulled out an antibacterial wipe to clean my knees.

"Tsss." I winced as he cleaned it a couple of times.
"Don't be a baby."

I turned my head, but he took a quick glance up at me.
"I'll be more gentle."
He said before looking back down at the cuts.

I looked at him as he helped clean me up. His hair was cute as hell, I just wanted to put my fingers through his hair..

"All done."
He said as he cleaned up the mess he made.

"Thank you."
within a couple of minutes he went out of the room and came back.

"Get some more rest."
He said before laying down back on the floor.
I wanted to tell him that he could sleep on the bed but I didn't want to make it weird..

I get up and get ready to head to the school. As I make my way to the school I check on Addie, she was fast asleep..

"All class captains and their secondaries come to the rooftop immediately!"

I look at Enomoto and Kusumi as we head to the roof top. That's when we heard..
