Chapter 18: The Countdown

Kaji's POV

Two days have passed since we all got the news. We all entered a classroom where the four kings stood with the four princesses.
We all find a seat. I turn a chair around and sit down, putting my arms over the chair and setting my face down on it.
People start talking about what is going on while waiting.
"I heard they finalized everything yesterday."
"Yeah same here."

"Hey Mizuki, when are you starting this thing?"
An upper class man said.

"Excuse me? Do you see Ume here?"

"Well.. no."
"Then we will not continue."

The door then opened up, as Umemiya walked into the room making everyone became silent.
"Sorry I'm late."

"As usual..they were starting to get antsy."
Higari said with an irritated look.

"Oh Higari.. you act like they are going to start a war with you."

"They might.."
He replies as Umemiya goes over to a chair and sits down, crossing his arms and legs.

We then heard clicking of shoes. Someone's coming.. everyone looked towards the door waiting.

Around the corner came.. Addalynn!
Everyone's eyes went wide.
She had brown leather high heeled ankle boots on, a black skirt and a white blouse on, with her blueish grey cardigan jacket that flowed when she walked. On top of that her hair was done, curly and half up, with lip gloss on that made her lips shine.

"Sorry I'm late boys...and girls."
She said as she looked over at her girls.
They bowed their heads as so did the four kings.
She walked over close to Ume and sat at a desk. We all still staring at her..

"Wow Ms Addie.."
"Yeah I was thinking the same thing!"

"Alright boys calm down."
Ume said while giving a forced smile.

"Tsubanki thank you for the makeover..I love it! You're amazing!"
She whispered to him with a smile.
He stood up blushing with a smile.
"Oh stop it!" He said while throwing his hand some.

"Mizuki, we're ready."
Umemiya said as Mizuki nodded his head, then walking over to the lights to turn them off. He goes over to a laptop on a podium. Meanwhile all of the kings go to sit down next to their teams while the girls go and stand behind Umemiya and Addie.

"As you all know in less than two weeks time, we will be going to war. We have no clue how many enemies there are or where they will be coming from. We got the smartest people we know together to fixate and analyze the best possible course of action that could help our outcome to this fight.. luckily for them we have a trump card."

'A trump card..?'
I thought to myself.

"As of right now we for sure know that their goal is to annihilate Bofurin and turn the town to what it once was before, and they will be coming to do that at 0:00 hours."

"What did he just say??"
Sakura asked.
"Sakura shush, he said at midnight, 12:00."
"Why didn't he just say that then?"
"He is a military enthusiast.."

I look over annoyed since I was trying to hear Mizuki..

"Nirei, Sakura there is a presentation going please be quiet."
"Sorry sir!"
Nirei said with a bow.

"Continuing on. Endo had proposed rules to this war, which we will get to, but for now we will go over the strategy we've came up with. Since we have no clue where they will coming from the best thing possible to do is creating a line of defense across the whole town. Unlike them, we have someone that can analyze and stratify a best possible solution within 24 hours. We looked at the entire numbers we will have, calculate how many they may have, look at the possibilities and created a plan based off of that. Thus, I will go over where everyone will be stationed."
He started to flip through the slideshow, while talking.
"The section beyond the tracks belongs to Shishitoren so that will be sectioned off. That leaves three main locations; the park, the river and the main road. The forest park is big and the roads are narrow, so teams zojo and komoku will be stationed there..while the mail road extends far but gives us great visibility. That is where team Jikoku will be stationed, since you all have great team work and able to adapt to different situations. That leaves the river, where our three bridges are located. This is where the analyzer said we would need our strongest individual fighters who can hold their. Those teams will be among the Tamon team, you guys will defend the river side. The first rule that Endo imposed is as long as even just one Furin is standing in front of them, than they will not touch the town!"
