Camp Check

First day of camp

Jodys pov

      I was nervous as I seen the camp in the distance. This was my first time going to camp. Hi, my name is Jody. Im 17. Im also bi which was one reason I was nervous about camp. Like what if I fell in love with a counsler.

      Well all those worries faded away when I seen her. I didnt even know her name and I was already I was falling for her. My best friend Kenzie snapped me out of my trance.

      ''Jody. JODY. " She said in my ear.

      "Huh what." I said snapping out of the trance I was in.

      ''Quit staring at the camp director.'' She says with a laugh.

      ''I can't help it, she's so beautiful.'' I say longingly.

      ''Come on Jody we have to go pick out our bunks.'' She says pulling me towards the cabin.

      *sigh* "ok.'' I say following her.
We ended up sleeping in the basement. Apparently we moved too slow to get a good bed. After we got our beds made and everything situated we went to the cafeteria where they were serving lunch for the day.

      That's when I ran into her. Literally. She fell onto me and immediately turned 10 shades of red. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. She got off of me really quickly and helped me up. When she took my hand I felt this spark travel up my arm. Her hand was so soft. She introduced herself as the director of the camp. She failed to mention her name as she hurried off to her table with the other adults.

      After lunch was over we went to the tabernacle to have a meet and greet basically. After that we were assigned groups, which we would be in for the activities throughout the week. After talking with most everyone it's time for dinner.

      When we go down to the cafeteria the director announced that after dinner we can go explore the area. But we have to stay away from the lake unless we have permission.

      Me and kenzie finished our dinner quickly and then headed out for the swings that we passed at the entrance of camp. We talked about everything that had happened so far. I also told her about the spark and how I felt towards her.

      "Jody, I don't know. I mean she's an adult. I know you almost are too but did you know she's also married with a child. I just don't want to see you get hurt." She says with worry in her voice. Before I can answer her it's time for us to go to our cabins for the night.

       We got into our beds and lights out rolled around. I fell asleep thinking about her. Then it happened, in the middle of the night she came down the stairs and went into the bathroom.

      When she came back she looked at me and said,

     ''Why are you looking at me like that.'' Without even thinking I said,

      ''Because your beautiful. '' She started blushing and then she said goodnight.
