Nagising ako dahil sa kakapusan ng hininga.

"Fuck!" I cursed while grasping for air.

Sobra ang pananakit ng puso ko kaya hirap na hirap akong huminga.

The door opened harshly.

Agad na tumakbo sa gilid ko si Aragorn.

"Damnit!" Aniya at inabutan ako ng tubig.

"Calm down." Aniya at sinikop ang buhok ko para hindi makaabala sa akin sa pag inom.

I exhaled after drinking and gave him the empty glass of water.

"How'd you know?" I asked him. Nagkibit balikat s'ya at naupo sa gilid ng kama ko.

"Nakalahati mo and bote ng alak. Alas otso ka natulog. Kaya alam ko kung kailan ako pupunta." Aniya na tila proud pa dahil nakabisado na n'ya ang bawat mangyayari sa akin.

I smirked.

"Queen." Seryosong aniya. Umayos ako ng upo.

"You should give up your heart." Makahulugang aniya.

"What?" I asked and laughed at him.

"How can I give up something I have no possession with in the first place?" Ani ko at umiling.

"What about your plan?" Nilingon ko s'ya dahil sa sinabi n'ya.

I just smiled at him and pushed him out of my bed.

"I'm hungry. I'll take a shower first." Ani ko. Agad n'yang naintindihan ang dapat na gawin at agad na tumango at nagpaalam.

About my plan?

I smirked.

What about it?

It's working.

Everything falls accordingly just as I have written in a book.

I know that we only have a matter of time. I ordered Jaero to take Maddie with him. Away from the chaos that underground society has. I promised Yan that I'll keep her daughter safe. I'm not gonna fail this time.

My phone vibrated. I saw Kiyo calling.

"Yeah?"

"Queen." Inayos ko ang buhok ko.

"They're coming." Natigilan ako ng marinig ang sinabi n'ya.

"Where are my family? Are they safe?" I asked him.

"Yes, Queen. Naroon sila sa Villa Fuego." He answered. I sighed in relief.

It would damn distract me if ever.

"Queen, I'm kinda scared." Kiyo said and chuckled. I bit my lower lip.

"Don't you trust your Queen, Kiyo?" Mapaglarong ani ko.

"Of course I do. But..."

"Do not be scared. As long as you're loyal to our familia, you have my eyes." I heard him sighed and chuckled again.

"Fuck. Kikiligin na ba ako?" Tumatawang aniya.

I laughed with him and cursed him before hanging up.

Yes, Kiyo. I will risk my life if that's the only way I can to protect all of you. All you have to do is trust me.

"Queen." Humahangos na lumapit sa akin si Silver.

I was busy fixing up my clothes when he approached me.
We all prepared for battle. Some of our men are  already in the battlefield. They're waiting for the enemy to attack.

"They're here." Aniya at napatukod sa tuhod n'ya.

"Shit, ang dami nila! Tangina!" Aniya. Tinapik ko ang balikat n'ya at natigil s'ya sa paghangos dahil sa gulat.

"Prepare yourself. If I saw you lying on the ground, fighting for your life, I will give you no mercy. I don't need weaklings in this familia." Ani ko at nilampasan s'ya.

Of course that's a lie.

Bumaba ako matapos ayusin ang takip sa aking mukha.

Nang makarating ako ay nakita ko ang nakaparadang sasakyan sa malayo at nagsisimula na ang gulo.

I smirked.

What a perfect scenery.

With a smile on my lips, I whispered.

"If you are with me, give me strength." I said before lifting up my gaze and closed my eyes.

I felt the gentle wind became harsh. I can feel its rage and with that, I sniffed the scent of blood scattered everywhere.

I smiled.

This is what I am now.

Things changed. I am way different from that girl who would do nothing but cry whenever things gets worse.

I clenched my fists.

I will not cry again. I will face everything and get pass through it. I'm never gonna back down.

Nakita ko sa kalayuan ang lalaking nakasandal sa kotseng itim at diretso ang tingin sa akin.

My hands trembled at the sight of him. I saw how he smirked and how it vanished when someone wrapped his hands on my waist.

"I am here. I got you." He whispered.

Nilingon ko s'ya.

"Don't make a move." Mariing ani ko. Napalingon s'ya sa akin nang nakakunot ang noo. Pumikit ako ng mariin.

"I mean don't make a reckless move. I'm gonna kill you myself." Ani ko.

A presence of something pique my attention but Kai caught if effortlessly even before it struck me.

I saw how his hands broke the arrow into three before he faced the guy who did it.

He was laughing while walking towards the mess. Walang bala ang tumama sa kanya.

Nagsimula na din akong maglakad papalapit. I ordered Kai to stay where he is and he stood there, gawking at us, as if saying that one wrong move and everything will come to its end.

"So... Does my queen missed me?" He teased.

"I am never yours, Gio." Malamig na ani ko. He smirked.

"Oh, really?" Inisahang hakbang n'ya ang pagitan naming dalawa. He tried to touch me but I flocked his hands away from me making him throw a harsh bark of laughter.

"Oh, come on, honey. I know you missed me. Kung hindi ka lang sana nagmatigas, kasama ka na sana namin ng anak mo." Aniya at ngumisi.

I shifted my weight and glared at him.

He chuckled when he saw my reaction. He knew that hit a nerve in me.

Fuck it.

"Where is she?" Malamig kong tanong.

Humalukipkip s'ya at pinaglaruan ang palaso na nasa kamay n'ya.

"You guess." He said and smirked.

Out of frustration, I gave him an uppercut.

I saw blood dripping from his nose. I am damn scared of blood when I was little but now seeing it only fueled my anger.

"Fuck you, Gio! If anything happens to her, I'm gonna fucking burn you alive." Nanggagalaiti kong ani.

He chuckled and spit the blood on his mouth that came from his nose.

"Fucking vixen." Naiiling na aniya.

Hinarap n'ya ako at muling ngumisi.

"You want to see Lira?" Aniya na tila nanunukso.

Tinuro n'ya ang lupa.

"Find her."
