Chapter 29: Monster Monster

Mina couldn't believe what she was reading. She panicked and looked around only to see her classmates murmuring and also holding the latest issue of Eyes Wide Open.

"This is so vulgar."

"I wonder how she'd react to this."

"This is even worse than when Jimin wrote that Taehyung rejected her."

"Of course! This is definitely uncalled for."

Then, an event from the past year flashed back on her mind—Jeongyeon going berserk.

With that in mind, she went in front of the classroom and spoke loudly. This surprised everyone since they'd always known her as someone timid.

Mina: Please! Hide the paper in your bags! Jeongyeon-unnie should not see them.

Nancy: She had probably seen it already.

Mina: Still... at least... at least she will not see her classmates reading this.

Nancy: Well, fair point.

But it was already too late. Jeongyeon was already rushing towards the other building, looking for Son Chaeyoung and Jeon Jungjook, and the students were clearing their way for her. They were either afraid of her or saw this as an opportunity to be entertained. Ryujin saw what was happening so she ran and tried to pull her out of it.

Ryujin: *pulling Jeongyeon by her arms* Unnie! What are you doing??? Don't tell me you're—

Jeongyeon: Don't try to stop me, Ryujin.

It was a very cold response that Ryujin couldn't move. When she snapped out of it, she called Jihyo who immediately left her classroom. She was heading towards where Jeongyeon was when she saw Jimin across the other side of the hallway.

Jihyo: Oppa!

Jimin was surprised and started to walk more quickly, making it very obvious that he wanted to escape from Jihyo.

Jihyo: Aish! Did he just blatantly ignore me? That bastard! Yah!!

He did not succeed though. Jihyo grabbed his left arm before going inside the restroom.

Jihyo: Why are you running away from me?? Did you do something that will make me angry?

Jimin: N—no! *can't look at Jihyo* I'm embarrassed, okay??

Jihyo: Ugh—I don't care about what you and unnie do but we need to stop her now. She's going after Chaeyoung and Jungkook.

Jimin: WHAT??

Jimin no longer waited for Jihyo to respond. He ran as fast as he could while finding more information about Chae and Jungkook's classroom, but Jeongyeon had already beaten him to it fifteen minutes before the first period of classes started.

"Damn. Chaeyoung's dead."

"That's what she gets for being a bitch."

The classroom only consisted of four girls and a boy at that time as they were the only ones exempted from attending the first subject which would be held in the gymnasium.

Chaeyoung, who was sitting in the back corner of the classroom and looking out the window, stood up when Jeongyeon stepped inside. She looked bored while she was being approached until Jeongyeon found a pen nearby and almost stabbed her. Thankfully, the boy managed to grab Jeongyeon's hand followed by one girl pulling her by her waist. The other girl went outside to ask for help while another one decided to go to the gymnasium to get Jungkook. Chaeyoung was too shocked to move from her position—she couldn't even utter a word.
