exempt iv : rain

alr so, this is a poem
ive been trying to
write for years. im
not even kidding.
i started this poem on
27/8/2022, and i
finished it in
2024, in a boring
history class of
another teacher. :)

alr so yeah, this poem
is very near and dear
to my heart because of
its history. im gonna post
both original and then the
remake of this poem. let me
know which one yall like.

but alas, as a writer i am
i like the old one much better
stupid silly me really didn't
care about words, eh? 𝖳_𝖳

anyways though, pls
gimme some honest
opinions on this. 𝖳_𝖳

Original

Blue sky's ahead
Black in a sec
Water on the roof all sound
But what are the clouds angry about?

The grass is getting greener, growing as well
The trees are standing still looking at the drill,
Crops are braking falling down
But what are the clouds angry about?

People inside seeing the rain
Drop, drop by one bit
Didn't mind carried around
But what are the clouds angry about?

The rain is falling
Steadily, it stops, while the sky is still alluring
Rainbows come and go all around
But what are the clouds angry about?

-

p.s i added the last three lines in the last stanza to at least complete the poem. didn't want to it end at, the rain is falling, only, yknow? 𝖳_𝖳
otherwise, i didnt alter anything else in this, its the og shii.

Remake

The sky stared at me when i looked up at it ahead,
Dark like abyss, where the sheets of thunders spread,
The moon cried it seemed as the raindrops poured on the ground
The night asked,
What are the clouds angry about?

The wind went wind, up the whole night, showing how much mercy it first gave:
Eyes were shut and some went wide and one slept in one's grave
The wind whipped through hair and silked upon skin, and screamed in rhe ear, oh, so loud,
But the sky whispered in the esr of mine, and I asked,
What are the clouds angry about?

Black went the lakes, and dry they looked,
It seemed they were dry for eternity, but now they took──
Every splash of water that fell on the ground
Even the murmured,
What are the clouds angry about?

The clouds roared at last, finally at peace,
The whole city drowned with the tears they unleashed
Darkness of the dark didn't come to cease,
Even the sun cried to be seen─
Even the bright scorching fury did plead
But oh, even the sky asked about the whereabouts,
What are the clouds angry about?
