exempt v : sadness (?)

this poem was written
on 25/10/2023, at 12 a.m.
i was just thinking about this
poem and i reached a point
where thinking wasn't
enough and i had to physically
move and get my diary and a
pencil from anywhere to just
write it down-

again, this poem is very
near and dear to my heart
also because it was the
first poem i had showed to my
family, more like my maternal
grandfather (ily <3) and even
though he didn't understand it
cause it's in english, i still love
the fact he asked me to explain
it in hindi, our mother tongue.
i

ts so sappy but still. 𝖳_𝖳

i hope you
like this poem.

-

In a bustling crowd with a
buzzing mind,
I sat with a thousand thoughts,
And a thought came to me like a sorrowful man's tears
And of like the blood of one he's lost

In a glance, I saw a million people,
Puzzling something in their own mind,
And a man with a look, who sat and shook
Every thought that becomes alive.

With confused curiosity, I walked to him
And asked him a thought:
If pain so big and words so many
How could a thousand letters mot express what you sought?

With no speech no utter, no glooming stutter,
He looked up st me with a smile──
And then I understood, the pain it took
For me to see that in a while.
