Rayne's POV
CLANG!

"Lily, I need a speed boost!" Arthur yelled as he chopped off the statue's feet that had been trying to crush us flat for the past hour.

The massive chunk of stone went crashing to the ground. However, the crazy fucker wasn't to be outdone just yet. Its head jerked up unnaturally. Bulging pitch-black eyes swerved to the side, beady red pupils glowering at Arthur. The eerie grin was still firmly plastered on its humanoid face. It wasn't the least bit fazed even after being crippled. Black gums protruded from the sadistic smile, revealing rows of jagged white teeth. This creepy bastard might dress like a pope with the mitre headgear and long robes, but there's nothing remotely holy about this titan. Especially not with the wrinkly face contorted in morbid glee, relishing the fear of ants.

[Statue of God]

As Lily chanted gibberish, the statue's eyes started smouldering

As Lily chanted gibberish, the statue's eyes started smouldering. Smoke escaped the red-hot sockets.

[Bloodlust is detected.]

[Statue of God is using 'skill: heat vision'.]

I hurriedly withdrew a safe distance away. Just when Lily finished casting her spell, lasers shot out at high velocity. Magic arrays formed below Arthur's feet as he nimbly evaded the death beams. Luminous plasma rays swept across the room, slicing pillars and melting charred residues on the concrete tile flooring. Magma bubbled and boiled. If that's a human... Yeah, no more funny squeaky two-legged creatures.

A greenish glow surrounded Arthur's garish armour. Wisps of wind curled around his body, rustling the hair of gold. In one fell swoop, Arthur directly blinked to the titan's fallen figure. A fatal slash and the unsettling eyes of doom were taken out. No more superman's heat vision. Giant digits swatted at Arthur's general vicinity. But all they caught were stale air and slabs of broken masonry.

While the other students swarmed the mannequin sprawled out on the floor, I was the only one quietly dispatching the loitering stone guards. Their peabrains were short-circuited by the dopamine of slaying a B-grade dummy that they completely lost track of their surroundings. I bet they haven't even realised that the previous inanimate memorials were now murderous Chucky dolls. It's a buy 1, get 9 free deal. If it wasn't for me culling the colossal population equipped with weapons and musical instruments, we would have long been flooded by their numbers. As my sword severed the head of a woman clutching a lyre, I used the remaining stump of its neck as a jump pad to leap to a nearby sword-wielding sculpture. A powerful cleave and the entire upper bust slid off with a heavy thud.

The harsh impact sent numbing tremors to my swollen palms. I could even hear the alarming sound of metal being chipped. I glanced at Venom Fang. Noticeable black lines streaked across its surface, with small pieces missing along the edges-signs of my new sword about to kick the bucket soon. Now that my stats were moderately balanced, cutting stone didn't pose much of an issue. But it doesn't mean Venom Fang could endure such brutal treatment. It's already showing wear and tear after 3 hours of slicing boulders.
