Haley's unwavering persistance of wanting to talk has now caused Y/N to be backed into a corner, unsure whether she should be grateful to the current circumstances or not.
"What....would you like to talk about then?" Y/N asked calmly, not wanting to show Haley how flustered she actually is.
"Can we...just talk, please?" Haley sighed to which Y/N merely nodded
"I've noticed...how uhm...how.." Haley stuttered over her words now it was her who wasnt looking eye to eye.
Y/N kept quiet, waiting for Haley to finish her sentence. However, Haley's sudden hesitation in speaking up gave Y/N an opportunity.
"Sebastian's right, theres no need to avoid Haley for what had happened. Although....I should still mention it..." Y/N thought
"If it's about me avoiding you....I'm sorry, I was just really suprised that you...had taken a picture of me in secret.." Y/N moved out of Haley's way and headed over to the box that had the picture.
Haley stood there confused, trying to recall a picture she had taken of Y/N. Y/N observed her expressions, confused that Haley looked confused.
"Picture...? Is that why she avoided me..."
The picture was placed in front of Haley who had a sudden look of realization. She released a soft chuckle and held the picture closer
"I'm sorry for taking it without your permission...at the time you were really....bea- s-shining....Ha..Ha..." Haley coughed up an awkward laugh, avoiding Y/N's gaze.
"Well, I suppose its fine...but next time-"
"Take it with your permission? I will. However, some moments are better taken in suprise..." Haley gave Y/N a wink and left her house .
Looking back at the picture that was once in Haley's hands, she wondered what Haley meant by her words.
All of a sudden her phone chimes, upon opening her messages she saw one from Haley,
"I was planning on giving it to you once it had fully dried off....as a gift"
Was all she sent and Y/N replied with a sticker of an animal nodding.
Despite her initial misunderstanding being cleared off, it still made her think about the rest of the photos. If not Haley then who could it be?
Also, why did it feel like Haley initially came here to say something else.
"Ugh, my stupid guilt...why did I have to speak up first...I should've let her spoke first..."
Y/N spent the whole night thinking up on ways to ask Haley about last night
"She's definitely hiding something..." Y/N muttered to herself, staring at the ceiling above her.
She thought back to the way Haley acted last night, especially cornering her like that. It wasnt like Haley at all
Y/N blushed at the thought, kicking her feet all giddily.
"I want to see her again..."
"Meow~" Missy climbed onto the bed, licking her owner's face.
"Should I go get some...flowers? What do you think missy?" Y/N glanced at her cat, who was busy snuggling into her pillow
Y/N gets up and gets dressed, finishing all her chores around the farm before taking a shower.
"Today's crops have grown well...I should probably sell them"
After spending hours on harvesting her crops and re-planting them. Y/N gathered everything and placed them into the 'Shipping bin'.
In the corner of her eyes, Y/N saw a hint of yellow, blending in with the grass.
Stepping through the tall grass, she saw a wild Daffodil blooming under the sun.
Y/N knelt down gently grabbing the daffodil with a trovel and placing it into a small flower pot.
"This should be a perfect excuse..." Y/N whispered, a small blush creeping on her cheeks
"Y/N? What are you doing back there?" A voice called out from behind her.
"Huh? Hold on, I'll be there in a moment!" Y/N shouted back, quickly leveling the dirt back
With the flower in her hands she got up and moved back towards the front of her house.
Penny poked her head from behind the railing, holding a a tray in her hands.
"Penny? Its good to see you!" Y/N gave a big smile, placing the flower pot above the shipping bin.
"I didn't know you grew flowers as well Y/N...it suits you" Penny said sincerely, looking at the pot of flower
"I may plan on planting them in the future, perhaps during the Summer" Y/N pondered, then focusing back on Penny
"That reminds me, is there anything I can help you with?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips
"Ah no, its nothing like that. I made a dish using a new recipe and came over to give some to you" Penny smiled, her face beaming.
"Oh? Food? Well dont mind if I do!" Y/N happily accepted and brought it into her house, inviting Penny in.
Y/N unwrapped the tin foil and was hit with the smell of spices. Her eyes lit up, getting impatient to try out the food.
Y/N grabbed a small plate and began to dig in with Penny sitting in front of her, waiting for her feedback patiently.
"Guhh.." Y/N coughed out, grabbing a cup of cold water and downing it immediately.
"A-are you alright? Is it bad..?" Penny asked a little worried and feeling embarrased by her food.
"Im fine, im fine...the food is great! But maybe tone down on the spices a little next time" Y/N gave a reassuring smile.
Penny apologized again, feeling even more embarrased and disappointed in herself.
She quickly excused herself, saying that she needed to get some things done back at home, leaving Y/N shocked by her sudden derparture.
"H-hold on! At least let me- and...shes gone" Y/N slumped back into her seat, glancing down at the food in front of her.
She picked up her fork and continued eating again whilst chugging down a huge amount of cold water.
"...I'm so gonna have a good time in the bathroom today arent i?" She sighed stuffing more food into her mouth.
Right after she said that she ran straight for the bathroom and stayed there for about half an hour before she finally came out.
"...soo worth it" She muttered under her breath.
