It was around 3pm when Y/N left her house again. She picked up the flower pot she had left on the Selling Bin and walked towards the middle of town.
"Y/N! Where are you heading off to?" Sam greets
Snapping her head towards the voice, Y/N saw Sam coming from Pierre's store.
"Sam? What's up?" She smiled and walked over to him.
"I was just about to head over to yours. Glad I managed to meet you before you were gone"
Sam then goes on to tell that they were holding a party in 2 days and that Y/N was invited to it.
"A party? Whats the occasion?" She asked curiously, making Sam grin proudly
"Ha ha! I shall keep it a secret!" Sam laughs, making Y/N even more confused
Their interaction didnt go unnoticed, someone happened to pass by and saw the friendly atmosphere between Y/N and Sam.
Y/N had a great conversation with Sam until she noticed his sudden tense expression and his words started to get a little stuttery
"Is something wrong Sam? You look as if you're going to puke at any moment..." Y/N moves to the side, not wanting to be in front of him when it happens, and hides the flower pot behind her back
"Uhm...its really 'sunny' today isnt it....ha ha..." Sam lets out, emphasizing on the word Sunny and wiggling his eyebrows to hint something
Y/N looked at him weird, trying to figure out what was going on with the man in front of her.
After a certain someone had left, Sam finally released the breath he was holding.
All of a sudden he placed his hand on Y/N's shoulder
"W-what is it?!" Y/N tensed at the sudden contact, even more so when seeing her friend act so out of place
"She was there! Glaring daggers at me!" Sam says, filling the chills as he thinks back on how they glared at him. It felt like he would melt right then and there.
"Who did..?" Y/N glances around, trying to see if anyone was nearby and sees no one.
" 'Sunny'!" He said again
"....The singer from SNSD? Did you stay up late again?" Y/N looks at him and sighs, remembering how much he binge watches movies and KPOP
"Oh I wish it was, but no its not that Sunny. Check the groupchat again"
Y/N scrolled through their groupchat 'Keeping the farmer in check' internally laughing at their group's name
As she scrolled through she found a part of their conversation where she had began gushing about gow much Haley had resembled the sun to her.
Y/N internally cringes as she reads them through, she shouldnt have drank much when she wrote it, or was she drunk?
"I-i was tipsy that day, how do you expect me to even remember this..." She tried covering up her embarrasing mistake
Sam gave her an 'okay, whatever you say' look before pointing out how Y/N started calling her Sunny at one point and My Sun, but Sam thought it was to cheesy to say the latter out loud
"Ah...so that was why you were mentioning it..." Y/N scratches the back of her head, feeling a little embarrased all of a sudden
"What'cha got back there?" Sam glanced towards the flower pot Y/N hid behind her back
Y/N tenses a little at the question, thinking of coming up with a total believable lie.
"Oh....I'm just giving it to Granny Evelyn.." Y/N lies
"Uh huh, well I'll leave you to it. And dont forget about the party!" Sam shouts back as he ran off towards his house.
Y/N watches him go and walked into Pierre's to wait out a little before she headed towards Haley's house
"Ah! Y/N! Welcome back, we've got a few items on sale today as well as a new set of wallpapers" Pierre spoke as he stood behind the counter.
Before Y/N could reply, her phone started dinging over and over again.
"Uh...I think I'll just look around for today Mr. Pierre!" She quickly replied
She headed towards a corner of the store taking her phone out and seeing tons of messages from the groupchat
Y/N's heading over to Haley's definitely

Is she finally making her move after all this time? [Laughing emoji]
-Abigail
I dunno, but she was holding onto a sunflower pot. I mean, who else likes sunflowers here but Haley
-Sam
And how do you know that?
-Sebastian
Blonde hair, influencer vibes, beach lover? Thats enough to know she likes flowers
-Sam
Isnt that I dont know, just your presumption? I mean what if she loves shiny things instead?
-Abigail
Yeah no
-Sam
Ive seen her taking photos of flowers before
-Sebastian
Alright, alright fine. So you saw her with flowers?
-Abigail
Uh huh and....I think she's in your dad's store
-Sam
Or in Haley's

"Boo!"
"OH MY GOD!" Y/N felt her heart flew out of her body and back in
"Got you good didnt I? This is for before" Abigail giggled watching Y/N's terrified expression
"So! You're planning on making a move pn her?" She asked, with a mischevious glint in her eyes
"Well...if thats what this is then yes?" Y/N answered, conflicted whether she should make her move or just be friendly with Haley
"You're still worried on whether she's with Alex or not arent you? Honestly, I've seen them together a lot of times. But in a romantic way? Definitely not" Abigail reassured her friend, giving a pat to her back.
"I hope so, otherwise I might just you know give this whole thing up.." Y/N said in a dejected voice, looking down at the pot of sunflower in her hands.
Abigail gave her a sympathetic look before being called by Caroline, her mother.
"I got to go Y/N, dont give up okay? Just give a try" Abigail said as she walked towards where Pierre was and entered her house.
"I should go give her this...Lets just see what happens" Y/N sighs and heads back out, walking towards Haley's
