At the hospital, in AJ's room, AJ was in a coma with an oxygen mask on him as Elizabeth was recording his oxygen levels when Skye entered. "Elizabeth, how is my brother?" AJ hasn't shown any improvement in his condition. "No, this isn't good, is it? Will my brother wake up?" "We don't know; all we can do is hope AJ pulls through this." "Is this coma the same as before?" "Yes, I'll let you visit him." "Thanks for caring for AJ." "I care for him," Elizabeth responded and went into the hallway. It had been a long night for Elizabeth, and she was exhausted when someone approached her.
"Elizabeth," he said as she turned around. "Steven, why are you here? Is it alright for you to be out?" "Yes! I was released from prison." "Oh, I'm so glad to see you," Elizabeth said, hugging him. "I miss you too." "I have some bad news about your mother—Heather died in jail." "I heard that's why I was released early." "Oh, and Dad here has been staying with me." "Wow, I have a lot to catch up on." "Yes, you do," Elizabeth said as Portia arrived.
"Dr. Portia Robinson, this is my brother Dr. Steven Webber." "Nice to meet you." "You too." "Do you still have your medical license?" "I need to plead with the medical board to get it back." "Oh." "Well, it was nice to meet you." "You too." "You should be proud of your sister; she's head of nursing." "Congratulations." "Thank you." "Is that why you look exhausted?" "It's been a long night in this hospital." "Yes, it has."
In AJ's room, AJ lay in bed in a coma as Skye held his hand. "AJ, you have to wake up. We need you. I need you. I love you," Skye said tearfully as Michael entered.
"Skye," Michael said. "AJ would be happy that you're here; he loved getting a second chance with you." "I am enjoying it too." "I'm going to check on my daughters. If anything changes, call me." "Yes, I will." "If we have to get AJ the best doctor, we will," Skye said. Ned then entered.
"Ned, what is going on?" Michael asked.
"I found a clinic that will care for AJ. It's the clinic where Lulu was," Ned replied.
"No! We are not sending my brother away!" Skye yelled.
"Skye, it's the best care," Ned insisted.
"So is General Hospital! I will fight you over this if I have to!" Skye shouted and left.
"Michael," Ned said, "I agree with you, just give Skye some time." "I will."
