Chapter 30:- Amaira Get's Arrested!!!

"Why did you do this to us? You shouldn't have taken Akshu's place," said Swarna, crying.

"Just wait and watch what I will do with you now," said Manish, calling the police.

After half an hour, the police arrived at the Goenka House.

"Yes, Mr. Goenka, why did you call us?" the police officer asked calmly.

"Police inspector, arrest this girl. She is a fraud. She took my Akshara's identity and was living here under her name. She cheated us under our roof," Manish said sternly.

"But do you have any proof against her?" the police inspector questioned.

"Yes, sir, we have proof against her," said Aarohi, giving her phone to the police and playing the recording.

After hearing the recording, it was clear that Amaira took Akshara's place. The police inspector arrested her and charged her with FIR for betraying, killing Ritu Birla, attempting to murder Aarohi Goenka, faking her identity, and blackmailing Mr. Birla. She was imprisoned for her actions. Aarohi was deep down happy as her sister got justice.

After Amaira's arrest, all Goenkas were crying and remembering Akshara.

"I am sorry, Aarohi. We always preferred Akshara over you and never thought about you," Swarna said, joining hands in front of Aarohi.

Aarohi had tears listening to this, but it wasn't easy for her to forgive her family so easily. At the time when she was broken, she didn't want to hear, so she replied to Badi Maa calmly, "Badi Maa, this isn't the time to discuss all this right now. Akshara is more important."

"But Aarohi, Swarna was about to say something," but Aarohi stopped her in the middle and said, "No 'buts'."

They all performed Akshara's last functions. All of them were broken, and Aarohi was the most broken amongst all. She had seen a motherly figure in her sister at some point, and today she got to know that she had lost her a long way back. Kairav and Abhimanyu were everyone's support system, but Kairav was also extremely sad for his sister's demise. He was trying to be strong for the family.

Kairav's POV

I always thought that my Akshu could never ever do this in her life, and today I proved her right. Amaira did wrong with all of us. Because of her, I hated my own sister and thought that my Akshu is jealous of Aarohi. Right now, I am thinking about what she will be going through. She loved me and Akshara the most after our parents' demise. And today, she will be completely broken as she got to know that her soul isn't in this world anymore.

He was trying to pacify the members, and Abhimanyu was helping him, though.

Abhimanyu's POV

I was wrong. I said that Akshara is the worst sister, but I would take my words back. I don't know what kind of sister Akshara was, but the one who was here wasn't her. Akshara's name was spoiled in all this nonsense. Aarohi is trying to act normal, but she isn't normal. She needs a serious outburst. She wants her sister to scold her, confront her, and spend time with her, which isn't possible.

It had been one day since they had learned the truth.

Manish joined his hands in front of Aarohi and said, "I am sorry, Aarohi. Yesterday when that girl told us the truth, we realized that we never gave you importance. You are also our granddaughter." He said this with all the emotions within him.

Aarohi was shocked to see this. She was angry with her family, but that didn't mean they could just join hands in front of her for an apology. With a small smile on her face, she said, "No need for it, Bade Papa. Actually, I should thank you all. The way you all neglected me made my determination stronger to be independent, buy my own house, and achieve great success in life. I know Akshara was more precious as she was your elder granddaughter."

Swarna took a deep breath and said, "Aaru, you can say whatever you want, but I know we have hurt you deeply. We are extremely sorry for it, and from now on, we will not talk rudely to you."

"Badi maa, please stop it, or else I will myself forget that this is my family because I am not used to all this love and care," Aarohi said with mixed emotions.

"Aaru beta, I am also sorry," Mimi said, extending her hands for a hug.

Aarohi was not used to all this, but she was liking the fact that finally her family realized their mistakes and now had the courage to accept it in front of her. They had made mistakes, and it's alright because in a family, a child is extremely close to one another. They all hugged each other and had family talks. Abhimanyu was happy seeing Aarohi happy; her happiness brought a smile to his face, and he was happy that she finally got what she longed for. But deep down her heart she wasn't able to forget them fully. She needed time to make her decision.

At night, they all had dinner and went to their respective rooms to sleep. Aarohi woke up early in the morning, got ready, and walked near a river. She was remembering something and enjoying the cold breeze present there.
