The next day, Abhimanyu and Aarohi were sitting in front of the OT when the doctors arrived.
"Sir, the patient is alright and will wake up after an hour, so please don't disturb before that," said the doctor.
Abhimanyu and Aarohi were happy to hear this. Abhimanyu hugged Aarohi, and she responded to the hug. Abhimanyu went to the OT to meet Ansh, while Aarohi stood outside. Suddenly, she caught a whiff of the same perfume again, and her mind became restless. How could she smell that perfume? Her mind was taunting her with each passing second. Just then, Raghav saw her and approached.
"Aaru, you're here after a long time," said Raghav with a smile.
"I actually came to see a relative," said Aarohi, as she smelled the same perfume she was trying to avoid.
"So, how is everything going?" asked Ansh with a small smile.
"Everything is going well, Raghav. Since when did you start applying this perfume?" asked Aarohi suspiciously.
What Raghav questioned:
"Nothing, actually. The perfume you applied is branded and not found in India so easily, and it's quite expensive," said Aarohi.
"Oh, my friend gifted it to me; that's why I have it. Now I have a lot of work, so bye," said Raghav with a smile.
"Same here," said Aarohi with a warm smile.
After a few minutes, Aarohi went to meet Raghav. They all talked and spent time with each other, enjoying each other's company. They talked for a while, and after some time, the police arrived at the hospital and knocked on Ansh's room.
"Good morning, Inspector," said Abhimanyu.
"Good morning, Mr. Birla. Tell us the whole information about the incident," said the inspector.
Aarohi and Abhimanyu told the police about the matter. The inspector promised to find the culprit as soon as possible. The doctor gave Ansh permission to leave, and they all went home. At home, everyone welcomed Ansh beautifully, and they were all happy that nothing happened to him.
I am thinking of having a pooja at home for my children. What do you say? said Manjari with a worried expression.
"Manjari, it is a good idea," said Harsh with a smile.
They all agreed to have a pooja for the peace and benefit of this house, and as a result, everyone took the day off tomorrow. The preparations began.
The next day, everything was set for the pooja, and everyone was ready. They all performed the pooja, and then everyone headed towards their work. Aarohi went to the hospital, Abhimanyu went to his office, and since it was late, Vishti didn't go to school and stayed at home with the rest of the family. Aarohi, feeling happy, went to her cabin and opened the door; it was the biggest mistake of her life.
As Aarohi entered her cabin, she was in complete shock. The sight in front of her was disturbing. On the table, white lilies were kept with a beautiful note inside that read, "I love you, Akku," which was shocking for her. She smelled the same perfume again and felt herself losing control with each passing second in that room.
Aarohi was scaring herself; her expressions of happiness took a 360-degree rotation. The expressions on her face changed, and she was feeling scared. Then the most disturbing thing for her happened: the smell of the perfume in that room haunted her.
"Please don't come near me! Please don't come near me! I don't love you; it was just an attraction. Please leave me alone. It was my mistake that I loved you and trusted you from the bottom of my heart. Please don't come near me and trouble me. I want to live alone," said Aarohi, with tears forming in her eyes. She was literally stammering, and the scared expressions in her eyes were genuinely true.
She was sitting in the corner of the room, repeating the same thing again and again. She didn't have any strength to wake up and move even a little bit. She was extremely scared; it looked like an old trauma of hers was again in front of her sight, and she wanted to end it as soon as possible.
She was digging herself deeper and deeper into the wall, but the scared expression on her face was unexpected. She wanted someone to come as soon as possible and help her out. Just in time, Raghav came and saw Aarohi on the floor.
"Aaru, what are you doing?" he said, concerned.
"Raghav, please remove these lilies from my room," said Aarohi with a scared look.
Raghav quickly did as Aarohi asked. Later, he went to Aarohi, made her sit on the chair, and gave her some water.
"What happened, Aaru? Why were you like this?" asked Raghav with a concerned look.
"First, tell me this: who brought these lilies into my room, and who gave them to me?" asked Aarohi angrily.
"These flowers were sent by somebody for you, maybe someone close," said Raghav with a smile.
Aarohi didn't understand anything, but she realized that her old trauma was right in front of her eyes. She needed to fight it off, or else it would affect her even more.
In the evening, she went home. She didn't tell anyone about this and was quiet. She didn't want to trouble anyone or tense them, as everyone was already tense about Ansh, and now this would shock them even more. She also didn't tell an important part of her life to Abhimanyu, which was her biggest mistake. However, it wasn't entirely a mistake, as she didn't want to remember that incident—never, never in her whole life—because it would break her emotionally as well as mentally.
