Raghav's POV
After an eternity clawing through the darkness, but at last, I hold my wife and children close again. The mere thought of harm touching them ignites a blaze inside me, a primal fury that knows no bounds. When I learned of what happened to my daughter, it was as if the very fabric of my soul tore apart.
I sought justice with a relentless determination. Those who inflicted pain upon her faced the full force of my wrath. Every ounce of suffering they caused will be repaid, million fold. They will learn what it means to fear consequences.
But vengeance alone is not enough. My resolve goes beyond retribution. I will ensure that my family is cocooned in a fortress of safety and love. No one will dare cast a shadow over their happiness again. They have endured unbearable trials without me, and now, I vow to shield them from every threat, to see them bask in joy and security.
My anger is a tempest fueled by a love so fierce, it borders on madness. It's a love that demands unwavering protection, a love that will move mountains and part seas to safeguard those who are my world. The sun had already risen, marking a new day, and I was late, delayed by an urgent meeting with my security and intelligence team to ensure my family's safety and privacy.
Today was the day we were being discharged, finally heading home. For now, the news about them had been tightly wrapped, known only to Dean and the attending doctor, both bound by an airtight NDA—though their fear alone would have sufficed to keep them silent. Entering the room, I saw our bags packed, Vaidehi getting Aashi ready, while Ansh was engaged with Ahan.
"Let's go, guys, everything is ready," I announced, met with two smirks and two cold shoulders. My beauties were clearly angry with me. "Hello, my pretty ladies," I tried again, only to be ignored. Imagine me, for whom even the Prime Minister must make appointments, being ignored like this—truly a first in my life. Yet, dare I complain? Absolutely not. And here were these brats—my son and brother—laughing at my predicament. My presence alone demands respect I and intimidates even the most powerful people, but in front of these two ladies, I am utterly helpless, now facing my turn to grovel.
"What's wrong, babies? Please, tell me what I've done to make the most beautiful girls this angry," I coaxed gently, though I knew their anger stemmed from my leaving without informing them. In my defense, I had hoped to return before they woke up, but here we were.
"Please, my princess, Dada is really sorry. Please forgive me," I said, holding my ear. To my luck, my princess inherited her sweetheart from her mother, so she melted quickly. "Okay, Dada, I'm not angry at you now." Aww, my princess is the best. Meanwhile, my devil son is giving me a side eye; he definitely inherited everything from me.
"Ahan, can you please take Aashi and Ansh to the cafeteria? Their breakfast is arranged there," I said to my brother, who was enjoying this at my expense. Now, it's time to pacify my queen.
Baby, I'm really sorry, but it was about Aashi's culprit and ensuring your safety," I said, holding her close in a hug. I wasn't going to divulge the grim details to her; she's too innocent for my dark side, and I intend to keep it that way. I know it's not morally right, but when did I ever claim to be a gentleman?
"Did you file a police complaint?" she asked, her naivety so endearing. "Yes, baby," I replied truthfully. I had indeed initiated a complaint with the help of the Inspector General, who would officially close the case with the explanation that the father and son culprits had died in an encounter while attempting to escape as per my order. I wouldn't have bothered covering it up as police case, but for the sake of my wife, I did.
"It's not like they can question me for any reason. They are all just my mere puppets—police, politicians, businessmen—all of them whom I can use anytime, any way I want. I can eradicate and replace them as I wish, and nobody has the power or guts to go against me. People are scared of the Rajvanshis, but they are terrified of me."
"did he got arreasted ?He will be punished right?"Vaidhei questioned with uncertinity as in these type of cases alot of time culrpit gets scot free with out punishement due to power and wealth what she doens't know is that her husband is the most powerfull and lawful punishment would have been a boon to them as compared to Raghav's punishment.
""Yes, Jaan, don't worry. Please forgive me for leaving without telling you," I whispered, kissing her forehead gently. Vaidehi is a very simple and sweet person, and after hearing her husband speak so tenderly, how could she not forgive? She kissed my cheek softly, and then I pulled her in for a soulful kiss.
After breakfast in the cafeteria, we all headed to the basement, which is reserved exclusively for our family.
Vaidehi's POV
As we stepped into the private lift and descended to the basement, I was overwhelmed by the sight. Surrounded by at least fifty guards and 10 cars, there stood a sleek, black car, exuding luxury and elegance. It all seemed too much to take in, and I couldn't help but feel a lump in my throat. Glancing at Ansh and Akashi, I saw their wide-eyed amazement and felt my eyes well up with tears, remembering the past.
I recalled a day when I went to pick up Ansh and Aashi from their prestigious school. Despite not being able to afford the fees, my little geniuses had earned full scholarships. I was so proud of them. I knew they sometimes felt out of place because we couldn't match the luxuries their classmates enjoyed, but they never complained.
That day, I stood isolated, feeling like an outcast because of our status. But none of it mattered as long as my children received the best education. As I waved to them, I noticed Ansh and Aashi staring at a luxurious car. My heart sank. When they saw me, they came running, and I couldn't hold back my tears. "I'm so sorry, babies. I can't even buy us a car," I confessed, feeling like a failure. But Aashi, with her innocent wisdom, said, "No, Mumma, we don't like it. Our sweets are much better and more exciting than a boring car, right, Bhaiya?" Ansh nodded in agreement, and I couldn't help but feel profoundly blessed to have such angels in my life.
