Raghav's Pov
As we were driving towards our mansion, I couldn't help but notice the palpable excitement in Ansh and Aashi, especially Ansh, who seems to have inherited my passion for Cars, among other things. But there's something off with Vaidehi, I'll speak to her once we're alone. I don't want to dampen the kids' spirits during their welcome ceremony, nor do I want them stressed about adult issues.
After a half-hour drive, we arrived at our temporary home in Delhi, where we'll stay for a month before permanently moving to Mumbai. Ansh, Aashi, and Vaidehi need time to finish their current commitments – Ansh and Aashi with their term and Vaidehi with her notice period. Although I could easily relocate them, given it's my hospital and school chain with branches worldwide, I respect Vaidehi's request and her independence. Besides, I can manage my work from here until then. Meanwhile, Ahan will be in Mumbai as Dad and Aarav are in London for Aarav's exams, joining us in Mumbai in the next 20 days. I can't wait to have my whole family under one roof.
Aashi had already succumbed to exhaustion and drifted off to sleep, her small frame curled up peacefully amidst the cushions. Ansh, meanwhile, was engrossed in something on my iPad, his brow furrowed in concentration as he absorbed every detail. The soft glow of the screen illuminated his face, casting a faint blue hue in the dimly lit room.
Beside me, Vaidehi sat lost in her thoughts, her usually vibrant eyes clouded with a shadow of worry. My heart clenched at the sight of her distress. I knew her well enough to sense when something weighed heavily on her mind, and the mere thought of her suffering tugged at my resolve. I hated to see her in any form of distress, and the knowledge that something troubled her filled me with a fierce determination to confront it head-on, to erase whatever caused her pain.
Leaning closer to her, I placed a comforting hand on hers, silently urging her to share her burdens with me. Her fingers intertwined with mine, seeking solace in the warmth of our touch. The lines of worry on her face softened slightly as she met my gaze, her eyes reflecting a mixture of gratitude and reluctance.

Every member of the family, had their biometric data registered, ensuring seamless access while maintaining stringent security protocols.

Vaidehi's POV
As we drove through the imposing gates and onto the sprawling grounds of the Rajvanshi estate, I felt a surreal sense of awe wash over me. The sheer scale of luxury and security enveloping us left me momentarily speechless. I had always known the Rajvanshis were among the wealthiest families in the world, but experiencing this level of opulence firsthand was overwhelming. It felt like stepping into another realm, where every detail spoke of wealth and power. The security measures were so stringent that it seemed we had more guards than even the Prime Minister himself—an astonishing realization that highlighted the magnitude of Raghav's influence and responsibility.
Glancing at Raghav, who was patiently indulging their questions and pointing out interesting features of the estate, I couldn't help but marvel at his unwavering dedication to our family's well-being. His ability to navigate the complexities of our lives with such grace and assurance never ceased to amaze me. Yet, beneath the mask of admiration and gratitude I wore, a knot of guilt and sorrow gnawed at my heart.
The recent days had been tumultuous, marked by decisions and changes that had deeply impacted our family. Despite Raghav's constant reassurances, I couldn't shake the feeling of inadequacy as a mother. The responsibilities and uncertainties weighed heavily on me, but it was overshadowed by the outward joy of our children's excitement.
Seeing Ansh engrossed in conversation with Raghav, his eyes alight with enthusiasm over something technical, stirred a bittersweet pang within me. They shared a bond over their shared passions, a connection that brought them closer despite meeting only recenty. Meanwhile, Aashi nestled peacefully in Raghav's arms, her small form radiating innocence and contentment—an image that both warmed and troubled my heart.
I sensed Raghav's gaze on me, filled with concern and unspoken love. His presence was a steady anchor amidst the storm of emotions brewing inside me. Yet, as much as I longed to confide in him, to articulate the doubts and insecurities that plagued me, I hesitated. How could I burden him further with my inner turmoil when he already carried so much on his shoulders?
As we stepped into our temporary home within the mansion's grand Entrance, I made a silent resolve to find a moment alone with Raghav. Tonight, amidst the celebrations and the joyous chaos of our children, I would seek solace in his understanding. For now, I offered him a reassuring smile, silently grateful for his unwavering support and the promise it held.
The children, Ansh and Aashi, were beside themselves with excitement as we stepped out of the car. The guards, with their impeccable uniforms and serious demeanor, opened the car doors with a practiced efficiency that highlighted their dedication to security. While their professionalism was unquestionable, it also made me uncomfortable—I had always prided myself on being independent and doing things on my own.
