I was waiting for them in front of the changing rooms. School was over, and we wanted to go to the mall so I could get a suitcase or travel bag. Since I think a travel bag is cheaper, I will go for that. I was cut off from my thoughts when I heard the door open. It was Kuroo, Kenma, and of course, Lev and Yaku. I assumed that they were coming with us.
We headed to the train station, which wasn't so far away from school. The walk there was actually quite fun. Yaku and Kenma were making fun of Lev's volleyball skills. He really needs to work on his skills, but he is a first-year student and has never played volleyball before, so I can understand it's pretty hard to keep up. We were laughing the whole way, and I noticed Kuroo's eyes piercing through my skin. He was laughing and watching me. I felt my face start to heat up, so I looked away. Not long after, we reached our destination, the train station. Our train was already there, and we sat inside the train.
There were only a few seats available. Kuroo saw that and said, "Hey Y/N, come sit down here. I can stand," while pointing to a seat. I sat down, and he stood in front of me, his hand holding onto the bar above my head. I looked up at him, and he looked down at me. He smiled, and I couldn't help but smile too. He looked so damn fine. I don't know where all these thoughts about him came from all of a sudden. I guess they were there all the time, but now that we spend more time together, they are kind of showing daily. But I still don't know how to feel about him. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard our stop.
Kuroo offered his hand to help me up. I would never say no to that. I took his hand, and he helped me stand up. I was unsure if I should keep holding his hand, so I loosened my grip. But he didn't seem to like this; he didn't want to let go, so he tightened his grip. I was a little shocked, but I started to smile and took hold of his hand again. We walked hand in hand to the mall, and it seemed like nobody noticed anything. Even if they did, I wouldn't care.
When we arrived, all of us talked about where we wanted to go. "I need a new travel bag and some new clothes. Is someone coming with me?" I said, still not letting go of Kuroo's hand. "I will go with you," Kuroo answered, smiling. The rest wanted to go into a different store except for Kenma. He didn't really need anything and just wanted to come with us. I was fine with that, and because I also needed clothes, it was nice to have more opinions on whether the clothes looked good. When we arrived at the store, I saw a lot of travel bags and suitcases, but the suitcases were almost unaffordable for me. I looked at many travel bags and found the one for me. It had plenty of space for clothes and cosmetic items. It was also not that expensive, and it looked kind of nice. I went to the cashier and bought the bag. When I came back, they both waited for me, and we went to another store for clothes. Kenma was on his phone the whole time until I started to talk to him. We talked about games and what we have to pack for tomorrow. In the other shop, I saw a beautiful, almost skin-tight dress. It was long and would be perfect for going out or for warm days, which will come in the next months because we still have summer. The dress was in a warm gray shade, and it would perfectly match my eyes and hair. I took it in my size and asked Kuroo and Kenma, "What do you think, should I try it?" "Yes, it would really suit you!" Kuroo answered, and Kenma just nodded while saying he agreed with Kuroo. We went to the changing rooms, and the boys followed me. While I changed, I heard Kuroo and Kenma laugh. The dress really suited me. I felt confident enough to go out of the cabin and show it to Kenma and Kuroo. They both watched me, and Kuroo said, "This dress really looks beautiful on you, wow," smiling, which made me smile too. "Yeah, if I were you, I would buy it," Kenma said. "Well, then I will buy it!" I answered. I ended up buying some tops and shirts as well and went to pay for the clothes. Kuroo was walking next to me as we exited the store. I looked at him, and I really think I like him more than as a friend. We met up with our friends again and went to eat.
Kuroo asked me what I wanted when we entered the food area: "I would like some ramen noodles. And you?" "Yeah, me too, I'm going to get some," he said. I wanted to give him money, but he just shook his head and said, "It's on me," while shooting me a smirk. I smiled back and put my wallet down into my purse. I sat there talking to Kenma and the rest after they got back from getting their food. Not long after, Kuroo came back, and we all ate and talked a lot. It was very funny.
After we all ate, we went back to the train station. This time, the train was less full, so we all could sit down. The train ride was a little boring because we all didn't talk much. There was a kind of awkward silence. Our train reached the destination where we needed to head out, and so we did. We said our goodbyes to Lev and Yaku because we had to go in different directions.
