When Athena got up for work around 10am Butcher was still knocked out in bed, his soft snores being heard from the guest room, the door was opened slightly and she peaked in to make sure everything was alright, and it was, the man was tangled in the sheets. He looked comfortable, but it wouldn't surprise her if this was the first time in years that man had slept in a fully furnished bedroom with decent bedsheets. She crept around the house as silent as possible, even putting her costume on quietly, trying not to say as many curses as she usually did putting on the tight piece of clothing. Thinking that actually making breakfast in the kitchen would be too noisy, she decided to grab something from the cafeteria at the tower. The woman grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a quick note, reading, "Help yourself to anything in the house, I'll be home around five PM.

PS- Do NOT leave the house"

She doubted that he would listen to her about leaving the house, but at least she could say,'I told you so' if he did get himself in trouble when he left the house. Locking the door quietly and stepping down onto the street, she looked around to make sure she wouldn't hit anyone as her body took flight and towards Vought Tower. Something about hiding Butcher in her home made her feel more anxious as she entered the tower, but there was no way anyone could know what she was doing so really there was nothing to worry about at all.
Her first stop was Stan Edgar's office on the 82nd floor, and she was not looking forward to that conversation. There was no need to make an appointment, they had known each other too long for Stan to be alarmed by the woman turning up unannounced, the secretary in front of the CEO's office looked like she was going to fall off her chair when the elevator opened to reveal Quantum, she barely spared the secretary a glance, the doors being her aim, and her target, the man behind them.

"Miss Quantum, what do I owe the pleasure?" Stan Edgar greeted, placing some folders down on his desk to fully look at her. "The pleasure is all mine Stan, and please, 'Athena's fine, we've known each other too long." she smiled slightly, as much as he was one of the most corrupt men on the planet, but he saved her from that Vought orphanage and for that, he deserved the bare minimum when it came to pleasantries. "Of course, Athena, now what can I do for you?" he gestured to the seat in front of him, which she happily sat in, ready to make her request. "I would like to request a transfer, from my current position to Starlights personal project coordinator, I want input on public appearances, I want the rundown, everything she does, goes through me." Stans face turned to a look of intrigue, "Why the sudden interest in Starlight?" He quizzed, and Athena sighed, pulling the DNA results from her bra, her costume having no pockets meant that everything was kept in there, the joys of women's clothing.

Stan picked up the piece of paper she threw on the desk, examining its contents, the dots connecting. "Ah, so she's your sister?" he passed the results back over, "Transfer approved." he shrugged, stunning Athena slightly. She expected a little bit of push back from the man, not whatever this was. "Just like that?" The suspicion in her voice was clear. Stan chuckled to himself, "My dear child, all you have ever wanted was family, and when I took you from the Red River group home me and Victoria tried to provide that, but no matter how hard we tried-" that's true, Victoria and Stan had a bond that Athena just didn't share, despite being raised like sisters, it was more of a roommate arrangement to them "-So I would never stand in the way of you and your sister." A brief smile came to Athenas face. She could now be closer to Annie. She thanked him and rose from her seat, him doing the same as he came around the desk, embracing her in a quick hug, wishing her well before walking her to the door. "Thank you Stan." He smiled at the thanks, but then his face turned slightly serious, "You do realise that once you make this transfer, we will have to take full advantage to up Starlight ratings, but of course, you will have a say in all of that." and he shut the door behind the woman, allowing her to process the information and the events of what were about to come, but she didn't care she could be with Annie, and the only thing she really had to worry about was posing for magazine covers.

The elevator ride down to Annies room felt like it took forever with the butterflies of excitement filling Athenas stomach ready to tell her the good news. The knocks on Annies door were even impatient. The Supe opened the door to see a smiling Athena, and she knew the transfer had been approved, "No, way!" The pair cheered and embraced, going into the room to celebrate. Room service was called, and a bottle of champagne was delivered to the women, to which they split 50/50 as they chatted about what would come next. In the past few months, Athena had discovered she had family, Stillwell was dead, meaning no more selling herself at parties, and she was finally finished being Voughts promo girl. Besides the wanted man living in her house, things were really looking up for her.

"So Ashley will definitely want us to do some Magazine covers, I'm guessing Vanity Fair and Vogue, then maybe an interview-" Athena cut her little sister off "But what shitty lie will they wanna tell about us finding each other?" The two began to brainstorm outrageous lies over their glasses of alcohol about what Vought will say to cover up the fact that she was sold as a baby to Vought to be dosed up with Compound V. It was fun to think about in jest, but the reality of it was upsetting. "Well, I won't say no to a day of being pampered for some pictures." Athena laughed shaking the negative thoughts from her head as she picked up the phone and rang room service for a meal to help sober them up and line their stomachs, to of course, have another bottle of champagne. The two drank and talked for hours about their future together, their past, Annie had a small cry about Hughie which is understandable, but that discussion escalated into how she wanted to release the whole conspiracy of Compound V to the public, but they had to go around it all delicately, and in all honesty, Athena wouldn't even know where to start with finding the evidence and building up a case. "Vought will get what they deserve one day, but for now, I'm taking advantage of them and taking a bottle of champagne home with me." Athena laughed, stumbling slightly as she got up, trying to regain her balance.

Annie grabbed ahold of her to steady her, "Are you sure you don't want to stay here tonight?" she asked, and Athena almost said 'yes' before images of Billy flashed in her mind, and she realised that leaving Butcher unsupervised overnight in her home wasn't the best idea. "I'll be fine, honey. Prince will be whining for me anyway." Annie nodded, knowing how that cat loved his attention, and walked Athena out of the building to one of the chauffeurs waiting in the parking lot.
