Annie watched as Athena stood up, excusing herself from the table and going to bin the rets of her food, she had lost her appetite. It wasn't long after Athena had walked away that Annie found her lounging in one of those uncomfortable pop-up chairs, she sat with one leg over the other, arms crossed while she bounced her leg. Athena saw Annie approaching her and got up from her spot, "Is she gone?" Annie nodded in response, "Yeah she got a cab...you feeling okay?"

Athena shook her head, her answer honest. Annie couldn't imagine how she must be feeling, finally coming face to face with her mother after all these years, after what she did to her.  The older sibling wiped the stray tear that had fell from her eyes and stood up, brushing her emotions away, they had a job to do. The two walked as inconspicuously as they could towards Stormfront's trailer, making sure no one was following them or was watching as they snook in. They needed evidence, and they needed it fast. "Annie." Athena nudged her sister, "The laptop." Annie followed her sisters pointed hand and rushed over, opening it and beginning to try different passwords to unlock it while Athena kept glancing out of the window to make sure Stormfront wasn't going to surprise them. Annie mumbled a few curse words as she kept trying to open it, until she finally guessed the right code, and gained access into the laptop. The supe scrolled through the files, "Tia come look at this." Annie called over her eyes not leaving the screen.

When Athenas eyes landed on the device she saw the same location being repeated in the majority of the files, "Sage Grove." it sounded like some cheap care home. "The hell is 'Sage Grove'?" She asked allowed,"And why the hell is Stan Edgar messaging her about it?" Annie added on, Athena knew that Stan had some shady shit behind the scenes, but this didn't ring a bell at all. There was no time for an answer for either of them as the trailer door was opened. Annie quickly logged out of the computer and stood up, Athena copying her, the pair frozen as Liberty turned around to see them both, a confused yet oddly calm look on her face, "What are you doing in my trailer?" Annie didn't give her an answer, instead she chose to attack, "You know, you had no right to talk to my mother about personal shit. What were you trying to prove?" Athena nearly snorted in laughter at Liberty expression, Annie was a good liar sometimes, but she needed a hand. "Okay, sorry. I was just trying to help-"

"She didn't just lie to Annie about about Compound V, okay? She abandoned a helpless child. So don't try and broker some kind of peace between us, because we don't want it." Athena stepped in, stepping slightly in-front of Annie, preparing to shield her if things went sideways. "Wow, that-that..." Stormfront started laughing, falsely wiping a tear from her eye, "I mean...that...is a performance." She gestured to Annie "You don't suck, Starlight. You are Tilda fucking Swinton." The two blondes shared a confused look between them, "And of course I didn't expect anything else from the Quantum." Athens eyes stayed focus on the woman as her laughter faded and her smile dropped "I know you leaked it." this was aimed at Annie who tried so hard not to drop her poker face, but failed "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Stormfront called her bluff, mocking her with a comment about lighting not striking twice. Energy began to flow through Athena wrists, the woman seemed far too calm and it was alarming, "Well It's been great but I've got to get Annie back to set." Athena tried making her way to the door but the purple lighting that started emanating from Stormfronts hands stopped her. "Oh you're not taking her anywhere." Annie grabbed onto her sisters forearm in fear, trying to mask it with a brave face, Athena had raised her hand aswell, energy swirling around her fingertips ready to strike.  That hack-a-limb Gecko stole the 'V' for Starlight, and then she leaked it to MSNBC. Now, what do you think Vought's gonna feel when I tell them? Do you really think you can protect your little sister from the entire company?" Now both of her hands were glowing, if things were going to go south she was making sure Annie was protected before she knocked this bitch out. "Watch me." She growled and Stormfronts smug expression dropped, "And how do you think everyone will react when we tell them you're a rascist pig, Liberty." The name drop came as a surprise to the supe and she laughed again in amazement. "Jesus Christ Quantum, you really are the real deal aren't you." "You have no idea."

It became a stare down between the two older women, seeing who was going to strike first, but neither of them were able too as Americas golden boy walked into the trailer. "Hello, you three. Not interrupting, am I?" The women quickly made their powers dissipate into the air as he walked over to them, not wanting to arouse any suspicion. Homelander smiled brightly as he looked between the trio, oblivious as to what had just occurred. "Quantum what a lovely surprise."

"Homelander." She greeted through gritted teeth, "Always a pleasure, I just came to visit Annie and she and Stormfront needed to go over some lines is all." Athena nudged Annie making her head for the door, they put on their best smiles as they exited the trailer, Athena shooting the racist one last threatening look before she shut the door behind her. The pair walked as fast as they could to a secluded part of the set, leaning against a wall together and breathing heavily, if Homelander hadn't of walked in when he did, who knows what might have gone down. "Annie you're not safe anymore now." Annie nodded, now that Stormfront knew the pair had information about her past she would be a target, "We need to get your chip out." They both shared a look between each other, there was only on person they could trust enough and had the right experience to get a tracking chip out a Supe, and that was a small man with a French accent. But of course, going to see Frenchie meant that Athena would inevitably see the one person she hated to admit that she had been missing.

Ever since he said that it was better if they put and end to...whatever they were, he was all she could think about, knowing that she couldn't have him only made her want him more. Her body ached for the feelings of his arms around her, even just to be near him, in his presence would be enough. However, that sense of longing was battling with her constant urge to punch him in the face.
