Annie had wasted no time in contacting Hughie as soon as they reached Athenas house, she was noticeably more on edge than she had been previously, checking the windows ever ten seconds as Annie tried to get through to Hughie. Prince followed his owner around confused as to what she was doing moving around the house like a headless chicken. Eventually she heard him answer with a confused but excited "Hello." Hughie was speechless at the story of how the sisters had confronted Liberty and how Athena now needed Frenchie to remove the chip in Annie, she had the strength to take It out herself, but she needed a more delicate set of hands incase she accidentally ripped one of her sisters arteries trying to get it out "Tell Frenchie to get some strong tools ready, we'll be over within the hour." Hughie was heard relaying the information before hanging up the phone.

"You know Butchers probably going to be there right?" Annie looked as her sister began packing a bag, Athena had a feeling that she wouldn't be home for a while and wanted to be prepared, she didn't look at Annie as she answered, "I'm aware, what's your point?" Her tone was a lot harsher than she had intended but it didn't phase Annie. "I'm just making sure you're not gonna kill him- or kiss him- I'm not sure how you're gonna deal with him." Athena stopped packing, zipping up the duffle bag and throwing it on the sofa, "I'll be fine, your safety comes first, no matter how I feel when it comes to that British bastard."

While the Boys waited for Annie and Athena to arrive, Frenchie was mumbling to himself as he assembled a monster of a saw to pierce Starlights skin. Hughie gulped at the makeshift surgical tool, his stomach not liking the inevitablity that it'd have to touch Annie as unlike her sister, Annies skin was more durable when it came to blades, Athena was more vulnerable, so she tried to stay clear of sharp objects or anything that could pierce her. By the time he was finished Annie and Athena were coming down the stairs into the basement, "Hello Boys." Quantum greeted them setting her bag down and heading for Frenchie first, "Frenchie, mon ami " She beamed, leaning down to him as they placed air kisses on each others cheeks, "Athena, ma déesse" He took her hands, taking her to the saw he had created, "Voila, what you requested." Athena looked at it, gently running her finger over the one of the blades, careful not to cut herself "This will definitely do the job" she nodded at Annie to come over and she did, Hughie following close behind like a love-sick puppy. "Will it get through my skin?" Annie asked as she exposed her shoulder to give Frenchie a clear shot at the area, "If it can't, nothing can." Frenchie shrugged, revving up the machine, making Hughie face go pale with worry, Athena softly sighed, it was cute how he cared for her sister, but he had to realise that this needed to be done. "I don't think
this is a good idea." He put his hands up in defence already knowing what Annie was going to say "Stormfront knows I leaked the V."

"Yeah, but she hasn't come after you." He justified but that wasn't the point "Hughie, that makes it so much worse, we don't know what she's planning so we need this chip out now." Athena gave Frenchie the go ahead and he started the machine up again, Athena heard him talking about how its hard to watch someone you love be hurt to which the pair tried to defend their relationship, claiming it to be platonic. She walked over to Marvin who was sat at a computer, Kimiko was on the other side of the basement watching some trashy American sitcom, she had given the girls as wave as they entered but quickly went back to watching the TV "Platonic my arse." He said to the supe, she laughed slightly, "You're one to laugh." MM pointed out, referring to her and Butcher, who was to Athenas relief, not present as of yet. They turned quickly as Annie let out a yelp, seeing Frenchie pull out the tracker from the now open wound "Bonjour, my little spy." He muttered as he twirled the device between his fingertips. Hughie quickly started cleaning up Annies blood, specifically the specks that had landed on his face, that boy really didn't get a break from being covered in bood did he?

Athena left them too it as she sat down with MM at his makeshift desk, "So what have I missed?" This sparked a whole story from Marvin of Butcher acting suspicious, lying to Hughie on the phone about having saved Becca and them finding him at his Aunts house, where Black Noir had followed them, and it was a nightmare too deal with him of course. The surprising part was Stan Edgar watching the whole thing from Noirs suit and Billy had said something to him that made Stan ultimately call off his attack dog, leaving everyone alive but wounded. "So that's why you and Hughie look like shit?" Athena joked, earning a pissed off dad-look from the man, "I'll kick your ass" he threatened, "Supe or not."

"You can try" She joked back, but their laughter was cut off by the sound of footsteps descending into the basement "Well, well, well. What have we here?" It was Butcher, he looked battered and bruised, cuts littering his face from his encounter with Black Noir. He didn't notice Athena sitting with MM, he only saw Hughie and Starlight. "I know what you're gonna say, but we just took out her chip. Everything's fine." Hughie jumped to his lovers defence, before Butcher had chance to say anything. Starlight, don't you just light up a room, eh? " He ignored Hughies words, giving the Supe a mock greeting, "and if you're here, that means your sister won't be far." He scanned the room, his eyes landed on Athena who sat with one leg and her arms crossed as she looked at him with a blank expression. "You're not mad at me are ya love?" He tried to get a smile out of her but to no avail as she kept a dead-pan look towards him, "We have a lead on Stormfront, dozens of emails between her and Stan Edgar about how they're close to a breakthrough at the Sage Grove Centre."

MM pulled up a tab on his laptop and turned it for the group to see, "It's a psychiatric hospital
in Pennsylvania." He described before turning it back around and doing more research on it. "We don't know what they're doing there but I bet my ass it's something shady." Athena stood up, and she could feel Butchers eyes trace up and down her body as she did "Lets not start betting valuable assets. I say we go on a little caper to this Sage Grove." Athena felt her cheeks heat up at his comment but quickly tried to cool herself down, giving a small cough and taking a sip of water from the table. "And let's bring the Supe sisters with us." Hughie jaw was nearly on the floor at Butchers invite of Annie to their mission, "You want them to come with us?'

Athena scoffed at his naivety, "Don't be too excited Hughie, he just wants to make sure his own ass is covered." She walked towards butcher, the smell of him filling her nose, it was intoxicating, "If shit goes sideways he know Vought will go after their billion-dollar baby turned traitor who just ripped out
her own chip." Butcher looked down at the women with that signature grin. "You took the words right out of my mouth love."
