Kim seungmin pov

As I slowly opened my eyes, the bright light piercing through the window made me squint. I was lying on the sofa in the living room, and my head was throbbing with a pounding headache. I couldn't help but think, "How did Minho deal with this every morning after getting drunk all night?" It seemed like a superhuman feat to me.

But as I tried to remember the events of the previous night, my mind was a complete blank. I had no recollection of what had happened or how I had ended up on the sofa. All I could hope was that I had succeeded in my mission.

I stumbled towards the bathroom, still feeling the effects of the hangover. After completing my morning routine, I made my way to the kitchen to make some hangover soup. But to my surprise, there was already a pot of soup sitting on the counter, and a note next to it.

I picked up the note and read the message scrawled on it: "Inform me of the venue and time for a date in advance." My heart skipped a beat as I realized what this meant - I had won the bet!

I let out a loud whoop of excitement, a noise I didn't know I was capable of making. I jumped up and down, feeling elated and triumphant. But then, suddenly, I halted my movements. I didn't know what Minho liked or disliked, and I had no idea if this date would even bring us closer together.

Those were thoughts for later, though. For now, I needed to focus on the task at hand. I pulled out my phone and dialed Minho's mother's number, hoping she could offer some much-needed advice and assistance.

Minho sat at his desk, sipping his coffee and flipping through the pages of a report with a deep frown etched on his face. He couldn't believe the audacity of the seungmin from last night. Who did she think she was, lecturing him about his behavior? He usually didn't remember much when he was drunk, but her words had somehow stuck with him, echoing in his mind like a mantra.

"I can't imagine their pain," he muttered to himself, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Rich coming from her, because she doesn't know how much pain I'm in and my parents, they only cared about me because beside me who is going to take over the family business. They didn't want to lose their golden child, the one who would make them billionaires."

As he sat there, lost in thought, he didn't notice that he was squeezing the coffee cup too tightly until it suddenly spilled all over the table, staining his white pants and the report he was reading. "Well done," he said to himself, "my life couldn't get any worse than it already is."

He yelled for Han Wool, who rushed into the office a few minutes later. "Print that report again for me and bring someone to clean this mess," he barked, before getting up and leaving the office to change his clothes.

Meanwhile, Hani and So Hyun, two employees who sat at desks nearby, couldn't help but giggle at the sight of their boss leaving the office with stained pants. "How many days have passed since their wedding?" Hani whispered to So Hyun.

"Almost two weeks," So Hyun replied, trying to stifle a grin.

"And the boss is already malfunctioning," Hani added, chuckling.

Just then, Mr. Choi looked up from his desk and cleared his throat. "Hey, get back to work, no distractions," he said sternly, but Hani and So Hyun just giggled and went back to their tasks.

"I think Mr. Kim should change his bet," Hani whispered to So Hyun later. "I don't see them together for one and a half years."

Minho stood on the rooftop of his company, gazing out at the breathtaking sunset after enduring a mind-numbingly dull meeting. He was lost in thought, when his phone suddenly dinged, shattering the peaceful atmosphere.
